If it was run by the state, you would still be defending it. If it was run by the state it would not be the same. So how can anyone know whether they would defend it. It's being free of any kind of state direction that makes it so valuable. That those on the right think it leans to the left and that those on the left think it leans to the right (which in case anyone here thinks they don't, they do) then the evidence supports my own observation that in general they have a balanced approach.

I've seen plenty of anti-Russian bias on the BBC and I suspect the Russians call the BBC the British state media. In the interest of balance, of course. Criticism of Russia by the BBC is not bias. It is the reporting of the facts as they know them. They always report the Russian denials alongside those facts and then allow us to decide who we believe. The Russians may well describe the BBC as being our state media. They are after all heavily into propaganda and truth manipulation. It isn't though true, as we all know.

They can make a relatively objective statement look biased very easily. For that reason their media is one I trust least of any. For most State media the bias is obvious but the Russians disguise it well. I watch Al Jazeera, got into it when working overseas and find it honest. It focuses on very different issues to uk mainstream media.

Yes, I am fully aware of that. The left are deluded in a number of areas.

hunting in packs, no wonder people get bored of talking to your ilk on this forum. i like coming on this thread from time to time to remind you of what you are...its just a real shame people didn't try to put you all on a ship to somewhere far away. fair play to wisbech for making you all look silly, he has the patience of a saint. xxx Braunston decides to wade in and have a pop at 'the fascists' after a couple of Friday night pints. And Braunston. When you use phrases like 'remind you of what you are' I think most of us can guess exactly what you are. I'm guessing that you are a far more unpleasant and hateful individual than those you target with your 'wisdom'.

Braunstone. Do try to plug the old brain in before you post your juvenile twaddle. If only you yourself would follow this sage advice, Hrolf.

When does this vile little t*** get sent down to jail? He’s been there for two weeks. He’ll be out in another six or seven due to time served.

When does this vile little t*** get sent down to jail? It's an unusual question but if you insist, bag it yourself and drive it down there.

If only you yourself would follow this sage advice, Hrolf. Do try to be more original with your trolling. My hackles are completely unmoved.
