Dyche has coached 3 of the current England squad. Heaton, Keane and Trippier. Of which 2 of these were bought by Sean dyche. Whilst it's not an exciting appointment. Was the pulis and big Sam appointments mouth watering. They were strong and experienced candidates. In this country the media tagged English manager like big Sam route one. Is the appointment of Sean dyche any different to Marco silva, where most fans were excited. Sean dyche keep his club up and silva didn't. Both had poor away records. How will we ever know if English manager good enough, unless there given a chance. We've given one hell of a lot of them a "chance". In recent years we've had one who thought he was bigger than the club, one who got us promoted, but was then out of his depth, a dinosaur, one who started off well, but then got ideas that he couldn't actually put into practice and two who, despite doing competent and more jobs, pissed off unexpectedly. I'd quite like to try something different now. I am assuming by "English" you're including "British". Edited by bexleydave (02 Jun 2017 10.21am)

Quite a few Clarets fans think a change of tactics is needed to stay up next season and want a manager with more attacking flair. Maybe being 'worked out' might be a concern, plus also a couple of big signings being flops and more signings needed when Keane etc are sold. Valid concerns of theirs tbf.

Because Parish has always appointed British managers. Ok - but how do you know what the "yanks" want as our manager? And that they are in disagreement? It's only because you seemed to state it this as fact that I'm asking

Demand more flair. Blah blah blah. Well, I saw us lose an epic 5-4 last season and I felt sh*t! Dyche is a good manager and a great fit for us. If people get tired of winning more than they lose we'll good luck to you. It's not how I want to spend weekends.

If his name was dychinho we'd be buzzing. Don't get me wrong, I'd be happy with Pellegrino by looking at his record. Likewise, I'd be happy with Dyche when you look at his.

Personally I would like Eddie Howe but I can see 'Positives' in others under consideration.

Seems to me that Dyche ticks all the boxes that he likes in a manager.English, loyal etc. While I have a feeling the yanks would rather cast their net further a field.
