The point on here is we arnt all as learned as some and certain posters should be clever enough to realise that, not rinse the ones who, and I admit with myself are not as learned. Literal language is how I and others post.

You seem like a very decent fellow so good for you. I’ll leave it at that.

1980's - acid rain will destroy all crops
in 10 years
1990's - The ozone layer will be
destroyed in 10 years
2000's - The icecaps will be gone in
10 years
None happened, but all resulted in

Yup almost forgot that one. Back in late 70s early 80s a loaf of bread was going to be a tenner at the turn of the century. Funny how predictions about the future are so wrong. Makes you wonder if global warming is bollox …..

AIDS always was a scam to sell expensive drugs and look who was central to that:

Also note that the BBC is predicting 41 degrees this week when the met office isn't.

[Link]

The word "may" doing all the heavy lifting.

[Link]

These are perfectly normal summer temperatures yet the BBC continues to push the netzero agenda.

The current temperatures aren't normal for this time of year in the UK, are they?

Nor are the temperatures in many other places in Europe/across the world at the moment.

Can you just admit you've gone off the end of the pier with climate denial conspiracies and have done with it?

So if you think it’s bollox your not allowed to say. Is that how you want it?
Science isn’t determined by numbers or yes men. Look for professionals who also think it’s bollox and all been cancelled or sacked etc. why do you think that is. Surely both sides of the issue should be able to be discussed without fear of being finished for life.

Globalism is the current ideology of the ruling elite (although I hate that phrase)

It is defined by many factors but including:

1. Open borders (free movement of capital, services and people)
2. Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (removal of traditional social norms)
3. Technocracy (rule by experts and algorithms)
4. Transhumanism (integration of humans with machines)
5. Global governance (central planning, global digital identity, single currency, single tax system, digitisation of everything etc)

This is summed up by the books and speeches of Yuval Noah Harari and is very much an ideology (clue is in the "ism" ).

The only problem I have with it is, as with all utopian thinking , a complete dystopia in the making.

Oh I (rather belatedly) get it.

Like with many ideologies, a lot in there is probably pretty good. Open borders I like, for instance... but to a point. As the experience of the Poles in recent years evidences, the flow can be two ways and evidences the operation of free market economic checks and balances and an efficient and buoyant market. However, border control (presumably anti-globalist?) is also a good thing, as some flows can only be one way; and there has to be a good economic case to justify that (not made to my knowledge).

Some stuff appears pretty scary on the face of it (4 looks like a move to a world dominated by the Cybermen); but is that more fear of the unknown - an inertia that mankind has faced since time immemorial. They have not all turned out bad.

You cannot have open borders and "free" social care. The two are antithetical. Also, it's immoral to force this on people.

Transhumanism is actually key to the ideology because these people are so insane that they want to merge with technology due to the impending predicted "singularity" which is when computers overtake humans in term of cognitive function (mid 2040's) which will likely be enabled by the rise of quantum computers. They don't want to be left behind. An obviously solution like simply not developing truly intelligent computers does not even occur to them. That's what you get with pure scientism without a moral foundation such as Christianity - just because you can do something, it doesn't mean that you should.
