I personally would be happy with this. Dyche did a great job at Watford before being binned because he wasn't considered a big enough name and he's done an amazing job at Burnley.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

I have no doubt Dyche would improve your goals against column but almost certainly score less.

Thanks for all the insights and all the best for next season Who knows what the budget is for the coming season ? As for January, the players we signed on permanent deals will probably cost @ £38 Mill but this figure includes the "Up to" price so the maximum eg If I am not mistaken PVS cost @ £ 10 mill rising to £14 Mill, Schlupp up to £11.7 Mill, Milo £10.8 Mill rising to £13 Mill. Not sure if there was a 'Loan' fee for Sakho. And all these figures don't include the salaries.

Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

Dyche has coached 3 of the current England squad. Heaton, Keane and Trippier. Of which 2 of these were bought by Sean dyche. Whilst it's not an exciting appointment. Was the pulis and big Sam appointments mouth watering. They were strong and experienced candidates. In this country the media tagged English manager like big Sam route one. Is the appointment of Sean dyche any different to Marco silva, where most fans were excited. Sean dyche keep his club up and silva didn't. Both had poor away records. How will we ever know if English manager good enough, unless there given a chance.

Allardyce with his record of keeping teams up was an obvious choice. I get the impression that whoever we appoint will draw 'Negatives' for this or that. Poor away record, lack of experience in PL, boring football etc etc etc.

Everything Lancy Claret said convinces me even more that we shouldn't have Dyche. I think Parish wants an English or British manager. While the yanks want the best manager we can possibly get.possibly a coach from abroad. I'm with the yanks on this one. agree

"Up The Clarets" is Burnley's main forum - there seems an air of resignation that Dyche will go if Palace offer him the job, but I am surprised that the response to the prospect is fairly mixed. Quite a few Clarets fans think a change of tactics is needed to stay up next season and want a manager with more attacking flair.

Pardew was adopting the "Transition" approach and look what happened to him.
