I didnt say that i couldnt but this mattwebb dude is so blinded by the blatantly obvious that its hilarious. Hes obviously from a religious family and been brought up that way so i cant really knock him if he hasnt seen it any differently. Its just a very very silly attitude to take. I am a down to earth person who believes in nothing in particular and who just lives each day as it comes. Religion, as has been said before, is the root of all evil. It is the basis for most if not all wars. Its the most ridiculous concept ever. E I wasn't raised as a Christian, I have lived as a non-Christian for 90% of my life. I used to be an MC on pirate radio, and the internet site UK Rumbal, and was even resident at Capital Club, Leicester Square. I used to be heavily into cocaine, and certainly had no time for God. But I had a life changing experience, where I met God. I haven't looked back since. God proved to me that He existed. Ask Him to prove it to you, and He will.

Not that I'd listen to that rubbish anymore, with knowing God came a maturity that changed my music taste - thankfully! lol

With respect, if you read my comments, they are personal opinion and certainly not insulting on a personal basis to anyone. Is this not a message forum for opinions? of course, but from reading your posts before I think you're smart enough to realise the antagonistic elements of your last paragraph. if you have any further issue then pm me, i'd rather this thread stuck to the topic nstead of getting personal.

It's not true though, Christians are winners. Please can you elaborate on this, does this mean that non Cristians are loosers in some way, or are missing out? Bean you don't like it probably because you don't understand it, you really don't if you think it's main message is to keep people down the straight and narrow. In fact, i do understand Christianity a great deal, along with many other religions, its just that i dont agree with it. I agree with Karl Marx, and i beleve that living life is much more fulfilling. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, and i do not have to agree with yours, and it is certainly not your place to try to convert me
Surely Christians cannot be free because following the very religion means that a certain amount of your free will has been taken away. I am bored of this conversation, it is just an argument with a load of bitter, ignorant people who have no interest in God except to mock him.

I know it sounds crazy, I used to think it was too. I used to look at Christians and laugh, I thought they were all losers. It's not true though, Christians are winners. Bean you don't like it probably because you don't understand it, you really don't if you think it's main message is to keep people down the straight and narrow. Why would I ask God to MAKE everyone love each other? He gave us the gift of free will, because He doesn't want us to all be robots. I am bored of this conversation, it is just an argument with a load of bitter, ignorant people who have no interest in God except to mock him. You may look down on Christians, you may think they are sad losers like I used to. In England particularly Christianity is seen as pathetic, this isn't the case in South Africa, America or Australia though is it, there is something very sad about our country. Like the Bible says don't cast pearls on swines! I'm wasting my time here. If anyone genuinelly wants to continue this conversation without being insulting, then meet me here [Link] I just see it as it's telling you how to live your life! Ok if god gave us free will how comes in religion there are "rules" (i use that word loosely) you have to go by? And if you don't follow them you are looked down on. Surely it should be your "own free will" what you choose what you want/don't want to do. Mattwebb- A very good friend of mine has done the complete opposite to you. He was brought up by a very religious family, and like you he said being Christian made him a better person, a winner. But then as he grew up, matured and started to have his OWN opinions and not that of a "book", he saw it for the BS it really is. Since he "stopped" being christian, he is a much better, happier person.

Tetly and whoever else wants to read this.... I dont think this is getting personal, people just have their own thoughts and beliefs on this matter. Its like saying this there a different God for every reglion, no i dont think there is. There is only one God, so why do all these country's fight over religons. For one reason, everyone is different and raised in a different way, and this is not going to change.
