According to the BBC in an article featuring a lot of highly inflated valuations of Man U players Wan-Bissaka only has one more year left on his contract and so only worth £10m

Then at £10 million - he would be a steal

The big story is and will always will be more about how the big club fails if they do (which they did), even if the little club excels (which we did). If it had been Fulham beating them then we'd be talking about how Utd flopped.

Pretty sure if Coventry had won against them the other day the story would have been about the underdogs. Sunderland and Southampton had upset cup wins but I can't remember who they beat off the top of my head

I tell you what; I LOVE JPM's finish last night, and have to keep watching it!

"Have some of THAT!!" as the goalie flaps at thin air.

But then I love our other goals too!

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Hate to say it they are all teams in lower divisions. We aren't. We are not small enough to be a complete underdog, which is
actually quite reassuring.

Tbf, one of the big picture stories on the bbc football page is Wharton could make the Euros

I think Glasner played it down reminding us he only has a sub appearance at U 21. Having said that, if he did go he might make an impact as I could see him partnering Rice. Henderson can do his "great in the dressinbg room" act, Phillips won't get chosen and Gallagher does not have the technical skill to avoid getting into trouble in a defensive role. Mainoo may get the not but as was seen yesterday he really isn't international standard yet

Trouble is, AWB is a right back, NOT a RWB. Though he has been playing LB.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

AWB does not offer much going forwward and would be better on a team fighting relegation. So probably best to stay put

OK so probably going to be shot down on here but the wider story was always going to be that the bigger club were awful. I don't think anyone could deny Man U were terrible and are now a pale pale pale shadow of the dominant team of the 90's under Fergie. What must he be thinking now?

Yes, as a fan I am delighted we beat them and we played well with a clear plan and focus, all credit to OG for creating it and the players for their execution. You can only beat the team in front of you and we did that emphatically.

The big story is and will always will be more about how the big club fails if they do (which they did), even if the little club excels (which we did). If it had been Fulham beating them then we'd be talking about how Utd flopped.

Utd have good players, but they dont appear to have any team spirit or game plan, they are just a bunch of overpaid individuals.

Apparently Ferguson was well known for this. You got the hairdryer when United won but not to his exacting standards. When they lost he put a metaphorical arm around the team.

Think Ollie wants to keep their feet on the ground by pointing out that- whilst acknowledging it a great result - they less than perfect and can still do better !

Could not make the game as I was away so watched on Sky - the “live” coverage was around 3 to 4 minutes behind the actual game so I was getting the BBC goal alerts well before the TV action.

It was quite reassuring to watch the play knowing we would score in the next few minutes though..

This is the longest time lag I can remember and wondered if anyone else had the same issue?

I had the same problem watching on Now TV. Put it down to the internet. A mate listening to radio commentary kept texting me with goals a couple of minutes before they got scored!
