I'm still in a borderline state of shock that about three of their chances didn't go in and that Mateta somehow didn't end up with a brace. If he'd converted just one of those chances it would have been a lot less horrible at the end!

Even now, I turn away and close my eyes when I see their chances in the replays

fly! I have loads of Liverpool friends who are still haunted by those days and texting me. saying ‘why always Palace at critical times’

I assume they’re taking about Gerrard’s slip but who cares…

Why on Earth would you have friends who were Liverpool fans? 🤢

Always a pleasure to ruin that lots day.

Never forget what they did to get us all banned from Europe.

A European place next year, be careful what you wish for, sounds nice, but fills me with dread, Thursday Sunday games, not sure I want that travelling on a regular basis, but I do understand people wanting it, would much rather win a cup

Agreed, I’ve hit the grand Age of 68. I’m wanting a cup (silverware) before my end of my days (30 years yet ;-) and before we leave this division :-)

All played their part brilliantly. Sky gave MOM to Andersen, others to Lerma, Wharton and Henderson but my nomination is for Mitchell who played the final pass for our goal and later blocked a certain equaliser point blank.

Overall, every player and sub (and the manager) deserve the fullest praise.

Supporting Palace is the agony and ecstasy of life.
Mostly the former but, today most definitely, the latter.

If you didn't see it enjoy MOTD2 tonight.

Man and boy Palace since my first game in 1948 sitting on my dad's shoulders

Yes, a 10-0 thrashing of Liverpool and beating Man U in the FA Cup Final would satisfy me in my twilight years.

I predicted a 2-2 and it so easily could have been but what a great result.

That was a great team performance. Wharton and dacoure next season for us will be amazing.

Dean Henderson since returning has been excellent and great to see him and Anderson bonding as a defensive unit. Important to see that.

Lerma has been terrific in defence for me, perhaps I miss things as I never played defence but his composure on the ball, calm and good at picking a pass have helped fill some of the Guehi void.

Mitchell has been so improved under Glasner. Deserves so much praise.

Difficult to enjoy that 2nd half as I spend as much time wishing the clock to pass 90mins.

On to West Ham next and we can now enjoy the run in. My hope is we reach 40 points and have a lot of fun moments between now and the seasons end

Just returned home after a day out and settled down to watch the match I recorded.

So, belatedly, I am in shock, not just with the fabulous result, but the amazing resilience of our team performance.

No duds as far as I'm concerned, despite some of the boringly negative comments by some on here. Pleased Andersen was officially MOTM, although I would have gone with Wharton, or Munoz or... hell they were all superb today.

Very pleased that Ollie got his second win against one of the (ex) title contenders. He worked his magic with team selection and subs. There's no doubt he's made an impact. Can't wait for next season and just hope we don't lose our key players.

Well done lads. You caused a few heart tremors, but you stayed strong and made some headlines.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.
