I will never understand why, after dominating Sheffield United for 75 minutes and finally taking the lead, we would alter our game plan and spend 25 minutes soaking up pressure.

It is utterly excrutiating to watch and I can only wonder how many years it's taking off my life.

Even after taking off Eze and Olise, surely at home we have the players to give the worst side in the division a game? Why on earth would we let them run at us like that? We were literally a crossbar away from throwing that away.

Surely, surely, surely the best way to defend is to not let the other team have possession near your goal? Yet we invite it and we do it every time we're a goal up near the end.

It's an invaluable three points and after a fantastic day as a Palace fan in which we won, Brighton got hammered and we've pulled off two excellent looking signings, I'm hesitant to moan.

However, I really bloody wish we would be positive and try to increase our leads rather than doing that.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

In Roy we trust.

Or at least I certainly do.

a totally unconvincing victory, won by 2 players.
Re David Ozoh. First, he needs to wear shin pads.
Also, to me, he has picked up a bad habit from Reidwald of running around in circles.

Following Palace since 25 Feb 1978

Well that is unlikely to happen until Hodgson goes, so we'll just have to suffer such match endings until then.

A couple of moments of real quality from Eze and Olise were the difference against a really bad side.

3 points is the main thing, but thought we made hard work of it.

Not any crossbar mate. That is the proud strong Holmesdale crossbar in all its glory that has been keeping teams out for years. Certainly didn't let us down tonight. The absolute beauty.

Not super convincing but the win we needed. Ozoh looked good when he came on. Think we can see how important ayew is to the team. Still haven’t got much going forward without the 2 star boys. Neither looked super injured when shaking hands with everyone on the pitch so I do wonder if them coming off was more tactical and Roy just didn’t want to be seen as negative but whatever. Get in

Please please be right. Sadly, Im not so positive. Just really hope Im wrong.
