Let just hope we don’t sell Olise a world class player set to get better and in exchange get someone else’s dross. Liverpool are very good at flicking lemons our way and no doubt will be at it again given half a chance.

I’d probably take Wan Bassaka from United + £25m.

Also if we sell Olise let’s insist on a decent sell on clause like the big clubs do to everyone else.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Yes but as I've suggested previously, Olise will decide who he moves to, not Palace, nor MUFC.

...nor the MUFC supporting bloggers who invented this story.

Olise will decide where he goes. I doubt if Palace have any say over his contract.
You are valuing Wan-Bissaka at £35m+. That would be a Palace record fee: for a full-back who has no attacking prowess and wouldn't get into United's team if they were at full strength

I have just read it and although Matip's name is there at the start , it seems the swap would involve Joe Gomez.

Would make zero sense, we have 3 pretty decent CB's.

Just read this about a swap deal involving Olise & Matip of L'pool . . . [Link]

Liverpool going to take the piss again, after letting us buy Sakho, who was permanently injured. We shouldn’t be doing any business With Liverpool ever again.

Halfway through the transfer window, plenty of rumours but nothing concrete (apart from seemingly multiple failed bids for Ronnie Edwards).

Still going with following comment come the end of window.

"we tried really hard, but transfers are difficult".

Someone copy pasted the MUFC story.

Also if I was to name one liverpool player who has spent the last few seasons badly impersonating a premiership player it is Gomez. For the copy paster to cite him in the alleged swap deal suggests to me that this story is little more than wishful thinking by a sofa fan.

Haven't looked. Are all the other clubs in our league doing brisk mid season trade?

With the much publicised fall out at Boardroom level, difficult to see any genuine activity in this particular window.
