Well I watched the game on TV .In my opinion we showed that we have a team of superior footballers than Luton by a long way. Over 40 games we will be streets ahead of them. Our most effective style of play is counterattacking. Our weakness is dominating possession and breaking defensive teams down. So todays game was always going to be working against us. Couple this with 3 players returning great distances from international duty arriving 24/36 hours b3fore this game and our two most creative players coming back having just recovered from lengthy injuries it cannot be a shock that there was a fair chance we would lose this game. An unlucky hand ball and two key injuries during the game did not help. With the quality of our substitutes being less than our starting eleven then we were always going to be up against it.
Apart from the injuries the key for me was the inability of Edouard to score when put through with his first attempt. It was the fact that he failed and the rebound hit his hand before he slotted it home. We have no goal scoring threat in our side and will struggle until the end of the season we will lose games the fans were not expecting and will pull of victories unexpectedly. This is the life of a Palace supporter but mark my words we will not be relegated. Forever onwards and upwards.COYP

Thought Doughty looked very good for them. And a player we should be looking at if they drop.

It seems that we keep debating & giving conflicting opinions as we are all right to do so.
We play boring football & I don't get excited about Palace games any more as against superior opposition we tend to battle well but lose as we are paper thin on the squad front & against allegedly week teams we just let them dictate games as no attacking game plan to win games.
I was so happy when Roy went 1st time around & must admit was pleased to see him again to rescue PV's fiasco, but not to keep him for another season FFS!
I had old work colleague Luton supporter sending messages how bad we were & i had no comeback as we are that bad!!

First game on MOTD !
Ian Wright pleased for Luton. Judas strikes again.

He's totally ignored his years of training from non league to Arsenal hero.....
I resent it but don't blame him... no glamour at Selhurst

We've got four players and the goalkeeper.

Doucoure and Lerma are bang average. Any t*** can break up the opposition unless you're completely useless.

It's no wonder we get called "Stripey Nigels". If we had won, we would be in 10th place and pushing for a Euro spot. But we lost, so we are relegation candidates. Wetting your pants with any score but a draw. Get a grip. It's an away game. No guarantees. It's how we managed to survive our promotion season. We'll be fine, again. We do this every year. I already saw a post saying "record lowest points to survive", alongside other posts saying the teams promoted are the weakest ever. It is rubbish football with Roy in charge, but most of you wanted that. I'd have prefered Parish to stick with Vieira, we would have stayed up, but then changed to a more adaptable type of manager possibly. But instead, you got what you wanted, and are now moaning about it. I despair you Stripey Nigels.

Systematically dragged down by the lawmakers

When we're not even winning these games, what is the point in Roy? At no point today did we look remotely ready for today. Pathetic coaching
