I expect you to come back with the usual stuff about me being a leftie and 'we didn't start it' so I'll spell it out for you, I abhor the use of violence from anywhere and I abhor violence being advocated in the name of religion - any religion. Is it true that an armed conflict would suit you because, in the end, you see it as the only, unavoidable, way of returning to the way we were: a white, Christian-valued population? If that means cleansing the country of all the immigrants that have come here over the generations and tainted our way of life, then so be it? Regrettable but the only way? That was quite boring until the last paragraph where it really picked up. I'm just going into the shed to get my Knights Templar helmet.

Just to add that if armed conflict did take place, old boys like you would be exempt - good for you, eh? No, others would do the fighting , conveniently.

I do love a laugh. Next! This won’t become BBS mk 2 no matter how much you wish it to. The way you post and your aggressive nature does imitate or other some BBS left wing posters. There was only one other left wing poster on here similar to you and he’s gone now. The other left wing posters and that includes Brentis, steeleye and EDN actually understand different opinions are for different people with different views. Something gives both ways on many subjects where there is disagreement. I upset one and apologised because like you I tried to belittle him and thankfully learned it’s not big and not clever. This is what you do regularly. Probably be best if you reconsider if you are on a forum which is for you tbh.

The reality is that immigration isn't good for the working classes but it is good for the wealthy....well short term, but that's all the wealthy need to care about. The old left knew this. All you are doing is supporting big business and rich bankers and the net effect works against the working classes. Edited by Stirlingsays (27 Nov 2023 5.06pm) Of course it matters to me what the right think. Unlike you, I still see folk of other political persuasions to myself as being human beings. Damaged , flawed and traumatised human beings but human beings all the same. We're all flawed one way or another. You also have to know what people who see themselves as in a war with you tick, and keep a close eye on them. Or else you could come a cropper. Immigration has been a very good thing for me and most the people I know. I don't know a single person personally who has had any negative experiences due to immigration. I know a few people who think that immigration is the root cause of all of their problems, but it's really not. Can honestly say that I have had nothing but a net positive experience because of immigration.

This is what you do regularly. Probably be best if you reconsider if you are on a forum which is for you tbh. That's rich coming from you after your last understanding and peaceful response, eh? I wish any forum to have contributors giving their point of view and to give reasons for their point of view. Nothing wrong with that; we are all entitled to post arguments and opinions. It seems to me , when I see the way Wisbeach, for instance, is referred and treated on here it looks like a lot of people enjoy abusing, with hardly any respect on view. I'm sure he can look after himself and doesn't need me to look after him in any sense but that's what I see. It seems people on here like to use him as a football. Great fun for some and nice and cosy but, as an outsider, it does look nasty. I write an answer to Stirlingsays in response to the language he is using and ask him a perfectly sound question in order to dig deeper and your response arrives "You don't half post some bollox". As you so rightly say: "It's not big and it's not clever". but you'll do it anyway. Edited by Glazier#1 (27 Nov 2023 7.09pm)
