There's a huge disconnect and denial about what the liberal middle class, especially the white liberal class over the nature of the society that their policies have created.

The more wealthy someone is the more they can insulate themselves from reality.

The point was made a long time ago that balkanization is the obvious consequence and it's been happening in plain sight.

As social cohesion drops...as has already happened considerably....their descriptions of reality grow increasingly distant from the statistics which reflect it.

I tend to find he's quite reasonable for someone with different politics but there's obviously previous happening here.

For various reasons the super wealthy are directing it but it takes worker bees to implement the directives and that's the middle class. They take the money and fill the managerial positions to enable the changes. It's why they defend the establishment so much because it supports their lifestyles...Whatever the regime is the middle class enforce it...from the communists to fascists and everything in between, 'I'm just following orders' is ubiquitous.

For example, It isn't Larry Fink putting out the DEI job adverts and interviewing and supervising the staff....the people responsible for the decline's implementation are the bread and butter faceless and unaccountable useful idiots that they have always been.

Yep, Balkanization is the physical manifestation of lower social cohesion....Most people won't be honest to your face but as with most things you see it in the practical actions they take.

As for enough is enough....I'll believe it when I see it.....people move rather than take action...it would take a heavy collapse before people start collectivizing in their own interests.

They know this....if and when welfare goes the troops will be out.

I would guess that the Croydon case carries more newsworthy merit as both individuals involved were below the age limit for normal reporting. The Bristol case suggests both individuals were adults. Both incidents are appalling; the reasons for both will come out in the courts but I would suggest that the news channels are always looking to involve race when different ethnicities are involved (eg the recent BBC headline of policeman murders black man).
