Continually, I reflect.
Is PV the right manager at Palace?
Last night match like with Fulham, he acts inexperienced.

We play like a 5 a side team. Watching the training session at Palace in December, brings it more home.

I watch the Touchline, I see a thinker in a manager.
Do I see organising or any urgency - no.
Do I question his tactics- yes
Do I questions his use of subs - yes
If he a nice guy - Yes

Where is he taking us this season - I dont know.

I dont recall 4 bad bad matches last season, as we had already this season. Everton, N Forest, Fulham, Spurs.
Matches at home against Leeds & Wolves only came alive in 2nd half.
The trend is worrying and his forward line doesn't work, his midfield set up doesn't work and defence has gone all shaky. Roy got stuck in his ways, Is PV the same.. Plan A replaced by Plan A!!!

Your thoughts?

He and Roberts are completely out of their depth, can you imagine Conte smiling at PV if he had just lost 4-0.

“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn

Agreed. Letting Kouyate leave and not replaced was criminal. If we don’t get an PL ready midfielder in during January we will be in trouble

Kouyate doesn’t even make the bench for Forest.

You said after the Bournemouth game, look at what happens when you play the players in their correct positions, same line up last night.
What does Eze, your favourite bring to the team, just seems to drift through games, not tackling or covering back, he lost Doherty for his goal, he was 2 yards behind.
There are now too many flair players, not enough steel in the team. Freeman isn’t the answer as manager as seen at Bolton.

I am in total agreement.

Eduoard has fallen out of favour with PV as a starter.

According to the meeja Eduoard has been "carrying a knock" and therefore may not be fully fit

You wonder why we signed Chris Richards and Will Hughes.

I think the condemnation Ayew is getting for shooting when he should have passed is a bit perplexing, and screams of hindsight.
He was our main striker - his job is to shoot on sight. he had the space, and he did his job. Also, 1) there's no guarentee Olise would have scored. and 2) JA may have seen him, realised that MO would jump on any rebounds.
The problem is that he Was picked there in the first place. Eduoard started pretty much every game up til the WCup, but nothing since? what's happenned? has he had too many mince pies?
PV likes Ayew's workrate, i get That, but I thought we'd moved to a point where he gets brought on as a sub to change things/waste time.

There are massive holes in the squad, the last window was a colossal balls up where we gambled on certain signings, and only one actually happened. Regardless of that, Spurs aren't a great side. You only have to look at some of there results recently to see that you can get at them...and we did That for decent parts of the 1st half, but didn't take our chances. (though The 2nd half performance was so poor that we probably still would have lost..)
solution? minimum; We need a Midfielder and a Striker PV is happy with, and fast.

The only saving grace is that it looks as there's only 1 relegation spot to play for; Saints and Bournemouth look doomed.

There is nothing wrong with most of the players, a good CF is obviously needed and i am not sure what Doucoure adds, he cant read the game, cant pass, and is too lightweight.
The problem is as i have said numerous times is we have a rubbish pair in PV and Roberts, Cant motivate, cant organise, does he have any ruthlessness in him at all, he is too pally with the players, get rid of them both and make Freedman Manager with Derry assistant if not get Dyche.

How is your position that Vieira and Roberts are out of their depth, but you think Freedman and Derry (both of whom failed as managers in the lower leagues) wouldn't be? Does that make a shred of sense?

How do you know that he's too pally with the players ?

Freedman has zero desire to move back into management. Ignorant statement by you.

One thing that certainly frustrates me about PV is his continued selection of your favourite Eze who is doing a good impression of an above average Championship player.

We have desperately needed a couple of players just to give us realistic options in a couple of positions all season. Get no one and we will miss relegation by the skin of our teeth. Our squad is by far the worst in the league and we aren't working that hard either with what we do have.

His last job in management was at Nottm Forest and he left the club nearly 7 years ago.

While he was there he signed teenager Chuba Akpom on loan from Arsenal and the player, now top scorer at Middlesbrough, has attracted interest from PL clubs.
