Just can’t please some people, if I get wrong I get told I know nothing & I am making up stories, get it right & get told it’s just a good guess. So when Doucoure signs I suppose I will be told it was just a good guess. Or maybe that you read it on twitter like everyone else, pretty sure you said Johnstone was a 5 year deal a couple of weeks ago Edited by coulsdoneagle (21 Jun 2022 5.24am)

Hearing tonight that Malcom Ebiowei has turned down Utd to sign for Palace had this information from 2 different sources expecting announcement on or just after the 30th of June. This could be exciting.
In dog beers I’ve only had one. |

You do wonder about Rak-Sayki though, does this not block his progression. Both same age. Assuming you turn down United and Spurs you will get assurances on playing time.

Rak-Sakyi absolutely has to go out on loan next year. He needs 30+ games at Championship level in the way that Olise had before he joined us. Between Ebiowei, Plange and Rak-Sakyi, I'd only expect one of them to actually be here next season and none of them more than a handful of starts. If we wanted someone to play lots of games, we wouldn't have renewed Ayew.

Looks like a good prospect - but another flair attacker... we have Wilf, Olise and Eze already (with JRS in the wings), add this guy, someones not gonna be happy. Feels a little like we're buying him so that someone can move on ?

Wilf plays wide, but is another CF option. If JRS was good enough we wouldn't have signed Olise, and he'd be getting some game time. I think we need another forward in the mix, and he looks an interesting option.

His game though is exhausting some being subbed coming on is a good shout. I can see those players staying for the League cup games and then depending on squad injuries/how they do, going out on loan

Been told that we have asked Spurs for a season long loan for Harry Winks with a view to buy.

If Ayew's playing, someone else isn't. If Ayew isn't playing, Olise probably is. If neither of them are, we probably have 5 at the back and 2 up front. If we keep them, they can't register for another league club until the next transfer window (January). Given that we've gone out of the league cup in the first game each of the past three years and haven't had more than 3 games in the tournament for 10 years, I'd personally rather have them playing 15+ Championship games in that time. If we started doing well in that tournament, we'd pick our best 11 anyway. I can't see how they would realistically get a useful amount of first team game time next year outside of a loan or a huge injury crisis.

Season long loan with the option to send him back at a moment’s notice would be a better deal. #lightweight
