Zaha was abysmal, with his play, and his attitude, i am sick of the sight of him, he doesn't even deserve his starting place at the moment, hopefully Newcastle will be mugs enough to buy him, i hope i never see him in a palace shirt again, 50k a week more than anyone one else on the pitch, he's, Me, Me, Me, F**k off
“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn |

I think Ward deserves a mention as well today. He covered for Tomkins and Anderson a few times. Has occasional rush of blood to the head when he thinks he’s Lionel Messi and decides to dribble out of defence. He’s not blessed with exceptional ability like Zaha, but he’s a good hard working professional who gives everything for the team and leaves nothing on the pitch.

Good. Now never ever play him again. Absolute embarrassment. Was the first one a yellow? If you think it was explain why Skipp was not given one minutes later.

the dramatics with Zaha seem to happen every week. as an Eagle, i am getting bored with it. For certain all the referees are sick of the abuse. we need to give zaha some anger-management counselling. Edited by PalazioVecchio (26 Dec 2021 5.37pm)

Yes indeed, disgraceful performance and attitude from Wilf and for what he’s given us this year we would be no worse off playing one of the up and coming wingers from the U23’s and saving the £560K we waste on his wages each month. Pathetic moaning cry baby with an absolutely awful attitude.

The big question with Wilf over recent times is who would pay money to take him off our hands. Originally posted by Phil’s Barber

The first yellow was a little on the soft side, but why on Earth was he making that tackle in the first place? He was so far from the ball and it was a totally unnecessary and stupid challenge. I said to the old man that he’s gonna get sent off, it was almost like he purposely got sent off - his performance up to that point was pathetic and he was playing as if he didn’t want to be on the pitch. He was the worst player on the pitch, no pressing and giving the ball away cheaply. His pace has gone and without that he’s pretty average. He has a big bollocks attitude but he’s no longer the biggest fish.

I thought so in real time and I did see a replay. Which 100% confirmed it. I thought he had a foot ahead of the defender as the ball was played across. I wonder how much that will be analysed later though? I think that was a VAR error as well as a line error. People are getting confused with the offside rules. If the passing player passes the ball behind them, which he did, then it doesnt matter about where the defender is. Similar to a thrown in, where you cant be offside, you cant be offside if the ball is played backwards to you.

I'm not enjoying the way we're playing and think that we're getting rumbled by the opposition and causing our own problems. Recycling the ball too many times (today) or overplaying in our own half when we're in front (Southampton and Everton) Theres's also a worrying softness in the centre of defence IMO. Ferdinand was scathing of Andersen's (aerial) defending on their second goal.

We started off well and it was only when it got to Wilf did we lose the ball often. Wouldn’t surprise if we watch the first two goals back that at least one came from him losing the ball. He’s passing was abysmal let alone control and taking players in. He should apologise to those fans that made a hard journey to Spurs today as well as the other 10 Palace players alongside him. Grrrr!
