And the charidee work is a tax dodge. I paid more tax than any PL player last year. Well done the accountants. Wow. You must have a cracking job. How much do footballers pay by the way, I would be very interested. In Sweden you would know as it's all published in a book but I wasn't aware of a similar system in the UK.

Sir Marcus Rashford! You might not be joking. I don't have an issue with him, just the idea that throwing money at a problem solves it. Otherwise the smart money would be on giving smack heads vouchers to clear up their user issues for example. The problem behind these issues is beyond money/voucher donations. But so many people are screaming for it, without thinking it through, it will happen. And money will be wasted, where it could be better targetted at the root cause. I applaud Rashford for caring, and if he wants to make a contribution, good for him, but it hardly matters to his bank account, like it will to the public as taxes rise.

What a nice idea. Tax people who don't burden the state schooling system to pay for state school meals. You couldn't make it up!

Presumably we all at least agree that the efforts put in by the HF to support local food banks for many months is to be lauded. Well done lads.

Not have had Local Government Secretary Robert Jenrick has today (22 October 2020) confirmed allocations for individual councils from the £1 billion of additional support announced by the Prime Minister earlier this month. All councils will receive a minimum of £100,000 The government has asked councils to use this funding to prioritise the running of vital services and protecting the most vulnerable and public health. 10 percent to be used for leisure centres £90,000 doesn’t go far Edited by Mapletree (26 Oct 2020 9.23am)
