If benteke went to west brom right now he would score a bucket load! Big sam would play the team around him put crosses into the box feed him the ball. Dont think a striker is our problem its just the team and the play!

From the look of the You Tube videos it looks like he can hold defenders off and secure the ball, if nothing else if he does that at least it will get us up the pitch and stop us looking like we are defending The Alamo every game

Striker at Palace is a pseudonym for 'graveyard' So many with good reputations have fallen by the wayside. Honestly with our 'tactics' even Ronaldo Creativity in midfield is alien to our manager but without this he has no chance. I hope this signing is not an indication that Mr Hodgson will be offered a new contract. We would be better off waiting for Hodgson to go and start getting what the new incumbent wants.

There might be some supporters who have entertained the idea that the wishes of a new incumbent have been granted.
