I've said that I'm happy to admit I'm wrong if, during the current embargo, Chelsea do any kind of deal that you're suggesting. I'll just add that, if they don't, I'll expect you to crawl over broken glass and hot coals before gorging on the largest humble pie ever baked. That is my final word on the subject before the current window closes. My god, i wouldn't like to cross you over something serious.

you just need to look up clubs that had the same bans previously and you will see they did as i stated easiest one to find is Barcelona who signed a lot of players when they was suppose to have transfer ban

(45 seconds in is about transfers in general) Anyone else think Hodgson sounds disappointed that nothing's happened yet? "I thought that we were all pretty much on the same page that we definitely need players... but I'm afraid at the moment we're still there with the ones who started pre-season training."

Exactly this. I thought he sounded proper pissed off and if he was younger and hadn't already done everything in football I reckon he'd walk like Allardyce did.

I don't think Roy will walk he is to professional for that and knows this is his last managerial post, but he is obviously peed off (understandably). As I have previously stated I have always backed SP but I am now losing patience. If we have no money, he should have stated we wouldn't be delving into the transfer market. The sale of AWB must be all to do with lack of funds in the club.

I’m not getting the hump with Parrish just yet because we are known for pulling off some great signings late in the window but you’d think him and Freedman would be at least letting Hodgson know what’s going on if that is the case and it certainly didn’t seem like that from the way Hodgson was talking. I can understand from the owners point of view that making late signings is better financially but it’s also quite a risk and worrying from a managers point of view I suppose. If we don’t at least sign 2 full backs and a striker then he’ll deserve all the stick he’ll get and I’d hate to see that because I love him and thinks he’s an amazing chairman.

But he has not learnt anything, do you really get good deals late in the window? I am not sure as clubs/agents can see you are desperate. A manager needs time to work with any new players, trying to bed them in when season has started is dicing with disaster. I feel for Roy over this and one wonders if SP wouldn't mind if Roy "walked"

Getting a bit f****d off with Parish now. Sold AWB before any replacement was lined up. Messing around with Wilf who signed a 5 year contract last year and now does or maybe does not want to be here. Wants to leave for Champions League football, with Arsenal or Everton??? Why sign for big wages for 5 years and then let this speculation drag on. Either come out and say you are staying, or stop messing around. Roy is trying to prep for the season, and as we do every year, we ponce about in the transfer market struggle until Xmas and scrape our way out of it. Fans are paying your wages, either directly or via TV subscription and deserve better. We will get replaced in the Prem in the next few seasons by a team with greater ambition I am sorry to say.

He maybe has told SP he wants to go and SP quite rightly has agreed but at the right price. Until Wilf says ok I am ok with staying then SP is still waiting for the right offer and needs to know if he needs replacing. Roy is powerless in this situation but it could well be that the cause of our dilemma is Wilf not SP who is only trying to react to the situation Wilf has put him in. . COYP
