Jenkinson may be as unglamorous and dull-sounding as a transfer can get but I suspect Parish likes him and that he'd do well for us. And cheap.

As always (it seems) Parish and his staff have WASTED weeks, received great money for AWB but FAILED to re-invest. IF Zaha is sold but no replacements are made, Parish should resign before we lose Roy

Still nothing. I don't care if we sign ten players in the next two weeks I don't like this. I'll wait a while for hysterics however.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

As alluded on here it's always the same old. We wait until the last day of the transfer window, where we only have 3 points from 4 league games and are hovering down the bottom. Then we wonder why we never have a chance to push for top half.

There is of course a great deal of disquiet because of our lack of incoming transfers.

looking at the Chelsea squad playing in Japan today, I'm thinking we'll go for a loan again from them. I'm thinking one of Christensen (DC), Mount (central midfield) or if we're really lucky Hudson-Odoi to replace Zaha for a year if Zaha leaves and then we can all but guarantee first-team football. Other than that, Ayew is probably on the way in, and we're probably looking at Cahill (meh) and Llorente (sure, why not). if the AWB negotiations went fine, I can see us trying to get Tuanzebe, Chong, or another of their youngsters on loan. They won't add much other than completing the squad and we'll start the season with Schlupp on the wing and Benteke up top. Dreadful. Even if he stays, Zaha won't be ready to play due to AFCON and maybe being a bit upset.

As for Cahil and Llrente, I'd put it differently: Cahil- sure, why not? Llorente-meh (cause a striker is more important to the table position at the end than a 3rd or 4th choice center back)
