I don't have an issue with any of their players, as for Vardy's knock with Guita - I'd expect a striker to go for that, it's their job. Claridge though, yeah, f*** him. Where is he these days anyway? Seems to have been dropped by the BBC

Claridge is searching the globe for the letters 'H' and 'T'.

I didn't think there was anything untoward in the Vardy challenge, but I'm perhaps somewhat 'old school'.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Perfect example of things evening themselves out over the course of the season. Today 5 attempts on goal ... 4 goals scored. Other games many more attempts on goal and maybe 1 goes in. Did we play well today.... not exceptionally, we have certainly played much better and not got anything. 3 important points. Hopefully Saints lose tomorrow and it gives us some breathing space. Given that we have an in form Utd up next that is very welcome.

Their next 2 games are Leicester and Huddersfield. If they're 0/6 from those then they're in trouble just on form alone. Huddersfield must be one of the worst sides ever in this league.

Also quite interesting that their last 2 games of season are Arsenal away and Man City at home

I don't think they have to be 0/6 to go into the bottom three from a defeat to Palace. I think they could be down there if they get 3/6. Although Southampton would have to pull off some interesting results...

Begs the question, do we now want Southampton to win and put pressure on Brighton or lose to keep us away from the drop?

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

I can't find the stats now, but we were represented at least once in the top five most shots in a game stat, I think for the match against Burnley earlier this season. Only Man City ahead.

Nearest I can find is this link; 7th most shots in the league

[Link]

Yet 14th in terms of 'big chances missed', so it's not like our strikers are missing sitters every week

[Link]

However, we're also bottom of the league for goals scored from headers, with just 2 this season.

Themselves, Cardiff, Soton, even Leicester look very shaky. We are looking as good as most, apart from Burnley. Tonight was a corner turner, hitting 30 points and getting some breathing space. Beat the Weed, then the Udders and we will be as good as there.

Also seen we've hit the woodwork 14 times, same as Man City, only Chelsea have a more unfortunate record

No brainer for me, I want Southampton to win. I am happy to roll those dice!

Can hardly believe what I've just seen. We barely deserved a point let alone a 4-1 victory!

Poor old Claude is surely on his way out after that. Great to see Zaha and Bat scoring and we're now closer to the top half than we are the relegation zone!

Lots of good performances. but thought Batshuayi's movement was excellent today, movement creates space and if we're going to try and pass our way out from the back then good movement is critical - thought the counter attacking was pretty good too.

He isn't going for the ball. Clearly frustration getting to him. Maguire comes across as a bully bighead. I just really dislike the guy. The only thing I liked about Leicester was tinkerman and they sacked him. I'm not looking for anyone to agree with me it's just my personal feelings.
