I haven't said you have. At the end, most people simply don't want to see this stuff so there will always be a reaction to it. It's thankfully a rare occurrence in countries it's clamped down on, that's one reason you don't see it. Saying that it isn't even racism and instead criticising the reaction to it is not a position most would hold, but we all have our own approach of course.

I think racial issues such as monkey chants in football, in society at least, are not purely viewed along political lines. Portraying the idea that it's not a problem as 'perspective', and is one as 'militant lefties' may fit here, but it doesn't apply on a wider scale.
