This slog to maintain another season with the occasional giant killing isn't for me, unless we seriously kick on and try for uefa cup. That's another thing! Win the fa cup and it's Europe! Never been abroad with Palace before, what an adventure.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Early tackle on Patrick...' by bexleydave Did anybody notice the very high tackle on Patrick in the first five minutes that was no different from the tackle made by the Grimsby lad in the third round on Andros.

Yeah that Bobby Charlton is doing nothing against the Germans take him off. I think today Wilf came up against a very good defender give that guy some credit for shutting him out for most the game. Yes he did and he still managed to get one brilliant shot away that needed saving towards the end, against Liverpool he was excellent, three times today he lost great openings, he is human.

Great result. I'm having a great day, and that topped it off nicely. Wickham scoring. Brilliant.. COYP. this from a Sako thread.. "I'm happy if he is to take Schlupp's or Wickham's bench space". P.S. Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Let’s face it, we will go down sooner rather than later. It will have been a great ride, but we will have nothing to show for it. I would love it if we won the cup. Love it.
