. . . . & whats the betting he's already sent his CV to SP & agreed to reduced wages & 'only' £250m budget.

Our poor performance is down to RH's tactics. The players were not comfortable with forward movement with ball hence, the constant passing sideways and backwards.

So not because we don't have a proper striker then?

Ayew has been relegated twice. Does that tell you anything?
Sorloth failed the last time he tried a higher level. We still signed him.
Benteke has been useless and shows no sign of improvement.
Which part of that suggests that Roy is to blame?

I'd say it's as clear as day that we didn't spend enough and secure a proper Premier League level striker.

If Wilf is not on song there is no spark at all to compensate. Nobody else looks like doing anything up front. Defensively we don't look a mess and haven't taken a pasting but up front is a different matter. Jan window was a farce but previous windows have been no better.

because we dont have a bottomless pit of money to spend and it went in 2017 on fat crooked sams janaury & sakho in august.

in 2017 (i think) we were in the top 3 spending PL teams.

im sure your smart enough to realise what happens when football clubs continually spend anove their means? right?

I think I preferred the start we had last season, at least we were breaking records, there was an insane unreality to it, this season it just feels like we're trudging through s*** whereas last season we were running full pelt eyes wide open through it, oh well, onwards and upwards (hopefully)

I think Ward should return at right back. WB is losing the ball too much and not getting in the sort of crosses that Ward can provide.
