Ref bottling the red card cost us dear. Benteke's yips in front of goal are absolutely excruciating.

First goal he dives out expecting it to go through Kelly and mane instead of defending his near post. 2nd goals is just awful. Don't know what you thought you saw. But the first goal did go through WB and Kelly for the tap in, that's why he dived out in an attempt to stop the cross. The second he just had to pick one side, after all he had the league's top scorer shooting from 6 yards after Sako went to ground. What keeper would have save that?

Assuming we're not relegated, of course. This was the game we could afford to lose. If we didn't lose confidence in the 3 defeats to United, Spurs and Chelsea, this won't break it either. In the remaining games the only "top half" team we have left to play is Leicester. Alright Bournemouth are technically 10th but barely. After Bournemouth is the big derby against Brighton, and a final two games against Stoke and WBA could be the two wins that secure survival, if we haven't secured it already by that point.

Roy doesn’t know how to get a team to shut up shop. We are always so open at the end of games when we really should be respecting the point. Should have brought on Riedewald instead of Loftus Cheek to sure up the defense, Loftus Cheek hardly helped out defensively in the last ten minutes.

Benteke costs us at least a point. Hennessy commits himself to the wrong side both times. It he had waited until Salah shot, he'd have saved it. He can make routine saves but never worldies. Edited by peterg (31 Mar 2018 2.26pm) That is just silly, the league's leading goal scorer on his own from six yards and you say he should have saved it.

wilf should of come off he had 0 end product today and wasn't worth risking. people that are blaming keeper for that last goal are just stupid it was poor defending the keeper couldn't really do anything about that Edited by grumpymort (31 Mar 2018 2.32pm)

The lads played well but the combination of tekkers missing sitters Hennessy not commanding his area and another set of bad refereeing descisions has cost us
