Palace are not prolific scorers.
The top scorer this season is unlikely to reach double figures.
We need to keep some clean sheets this season in order to stay up e.g the 1-0 v Burnley.
My worry is that opposing teams will see our vulnerability at defending set pieces.
My heart was in my mouth for every corner last night.
I imagine Huddersfield, Stoke and WBA could target this area.
Hennessey flaps at the ball and seems unsure where to position himself.

Palace,always entertaining along the way.

It certainly won’t be the disaster some are making out. The players that stay will be more than good enough to form a strong nucleus of a decent Championship side. We’ll also have a decent kitty to sign some championship class. The gutter for me would be losing Wilf but as Wan-Bissaka has shown we have some quality in our academy ready to come through that would benefit from us being in the Championship. We have to accept relegation as a fact of life as CPFC. But under SP we can also now expect promotion and to a degree, for us to have a good chance of staying up again.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

A yo-yo that may spring back years and years later.

'Under Parish we can EXPECT promotion and a good chance of staying up.' Pure hope and guesswork.

You also don't know if we'll have a decent kitty as there'll be a few players that clubs aren't going to be fighting each other to pay them £130k and £100k a week for nothing (2 of our many French speakers) so that is again pure hope and guesswork, even if we do sell Zaha and Townsend and Tomkins.

It looks far from being guaranteed fantastic. Most of the creativity we have won't be here, it will cost to bring in replacements and if we don't move both Benteke and Sakho on we'll be hamstrung. Moving those 2 out will be crucial for anything to happen. The pair of them together cost about 6-7 championship wages, but get rid of both and you have that and the transfer fees too.

It appears our injured players are starting to make recoveries, fingers crossed. If we get them back, WIlf, Sakho and RLC I think we have every chance. I

Burnley came straight back up a couple of seasons ago. They lost Tripper and Keane but kept the nucleus of their team.

However they bought Tarkowski for £3 Mill which has proved to be a brilliant signing and Andre Gray (£6 Mill rising to £9 Mill +20% Sell-On) who scored 25 goals for them in their promotion season.Excellent recruitment.

Burnley aren't worth comparing to our situation.

With respect I wasn't trying to make a comparison.
Just highlighting the fact that excellent recruiting was absolutely pivotal in their promotion and we will have to be as astute in the market to stand any chance of an immediate return to the PL.

Also I contrast Burnley's situation with A.Villa.Burnley kept the nucleus of their team whereas A.Villa lost perhaps 10 players and were 13th in their first season in the Championship.I suspect that there will be far more upheaval for us than there was at Burnley and like A.Villa we will not make an instant return to the riches of the PL.

Ok now I see the point in the post. With respect sir, if you'd said that it wouldn't have read as a.n other random club post.
