The team were going around the pitch as if they had a 10lb bag of potatoes attached to their backs. Definitely off the pace.

Swansea always keep the ball well. We were Chasing shadows most of the game. Closed them down when it mattered (apart from once). Biggest problem was not having a focal point up front, no one yo hold onto the ball meant we gave it back to them too easily. Thought townsend was really poor today and should havw been replaced earlier. 8 games unbeaten now. Bring on arsenal

Without Benteke, Sakho & Ward I think a point is ok. Certainly better for us than it was for Swansea.

Our unbeaten run continues and we continue to give ourselves a chance which looked impossible at the start.

We're now gettingh points when not playing well, so unlike the start when we played well in some games and still lost.

But without two of those players we also hammered Leicester at there Place , definitely holding back for the busy festive period and I don’t blame them really

I was thinking more like the next three games in six days and compared to Swansea today those next three are slightly more of a challenge imo

Not sure why it matters where the points come from. They're worth the same if we take them from Swansea or Man City (except one is a lot more unlikely).

Surely over-exert yourself today, be 5 points clear and possibly due to exhaustion lose to Arsenal and City. That's surely the better way to go about things?

Swansea were always gonna come on strong in the last 15 minutes, but we helped them by taking off Cabaye. Whenever he goes off we lose our hold on midfield IMO. If he's on the pitch Ayew doesn't find that space.
Bloody Ayew brothers this season.

Losing and drawing to the bottom side gives them three more points than us, which could be crucial at the end of the season. Getting three points from Chelsea is not likely to affect our position relative to theirs and the relgation places at the end of the season.
In the first half of the season we have thrown points away against Swansea, West Ham, Bournemouth, Newcastle and Huddersfield. If we are going to avoid relegation, we need to start beating teams in the bottom half of the table.

What are the 3 games in the next six days? As far as I’m aware there is only 1 game in the next six days - Arsenal at home,
