Clearly a mis-interpretation of my posts.
I am just a humble chap and not a font of all knowledge.

Agreed..I can't think for one minute knowing the security in place that anyone would be stupid enough to be topped up. Stinks of 'cover story' as I'm assuming anyone found with these items would've been nicked...if so then release the proof.

When we were all coming too this morning and mentally digesting what went on last night sky sports said 5 arrests had been made. Then as the day ticked by and the full stories have come out apparently there were weapons galore. Absolutely stinks to high heaven. A justification for what they did to us. Wrong. So so wrong

Hi Michaela,
Can’t believe what’s gone on last night! No way should genuine supporters be treated so badly.

Hope your ok

Big time cover up,5 arrested for public order offences...so they found knives and knuckle dusters, how come no one has been charged with carrying an offensive weapon.
As you quite rightly say Michaela total cover up,they know they have f***ed up.

always a Norwood boy, where ever I live.

You obviously were not a football fan in the good old days of the '70s. Incidents like last night are a storm in a teacup in comparison. I was not there last night so don't know what really happened but after Hillsborough I find it hard to understand some poster's faith in the Old Bill's version of anything.

Indeed and talking of the 70's why didn't the lads without tickets storm the turnstiles at the Brighton end ? No the w***ers had to mess up the night for our own fans . Do us a favour and stay at home next time you don't have a ticket

1. It's not the 70s anymore

&

2. I'm a 90s kid and yet I'm still fairly sure if the melts we're seeing in the videos were about in the 70s, they'd get smashed all over the place.

I've met a couple of these types before games. Used to be a fair few of them in the Port Manor. They're complete fannies and if it ever really came on top (which they'd make sure it didn't), they'd do f*** all.

I love Palace but it's safe to say a fair proportion of our fans always have and always will be as muggy as anything. Embarrassing.

So I've heard (and seen said by some here) from mates and mates of mates that went that the turnstiles were actually closed before the rush? Unless there were two rushes?

Also, said rush actually lead to some of them WITH TICKETS being let into the ground. This whole thing stinks in my opinion, and I think the blame has been deflected, and unfortunately sucked up, onto our own fans.
