I want to see Wilf back on the wing. He disappears from games when he's up top. Overall a pretty dull second half, but we managed to just keep out Brighton's 300 corners. A pretty fair 0-0 and at least we can say Brighton gave us our first away point of the season Yes. Zaha is anonymous up top. He might produce something st some point but so far it still been out wide if he does. We haven't got time to see if it might happen centrally.

An away point to a team lying 9th is a good result.

f*** me that was painfully boring to watch, what a disappointment, was expecting a bit more passion than that. At least we got our first away clean sheet, WH did well, he's looking a bit more confident I think? Been thinking recently how could they not put a fixture like this on UK TV, but you know what, the people that choose these things really know their stuff. Night all. It was strange that it didn't get a bit more heated. It seems that the weight of the occasion was causing everyone to mess up their final balls but equally there weren't any particularly hard challenges. And Hennessey did look decent when called upon.

A good away point ... could have pulled ourselves out of trouble tonight but that would be far too easy!

"Respect the point", must be among the wisest words any Palace manager has ever said to his team. They will be more pi**ed off with a point that we will so let's go and get a pint. Weed were there for the taking tonight and we should've capitalised on it. Positive is we're still competitive. But a little more composure on the ball would've seen us with all 3 points tonight.
