I'm just going to answer your last point, because I understood the issue of the gangs in Rotherham was that little action was taken because of the perception that to do so would be seen as 'racist'. My point is that such a view is representative of idiocy and cowardice, not multiculturalism.

I work in a very multicultural setting, predominantly indian, i hear the young lads say they wouldn't/couldn't date white girls, young arabic girls say they could only date arabic boys - why? to preserve their culture/it's what their parents want etc - i seem them all socialize in large groups and navigate towards each other.

Many people agree with that and say 'nothing wrong with wanting your culture to continue, it's just the way it is and sticking to what you know or can relate too' yet some people say it's racist - if a white person openly said, 'i only want to date white women' imagine that.

But every culture, race, nation, community has far better people in it, far more. so by focusing on the small minority, it detracts from the good.

It feels obvious to me that the media, powers that be, want us al hating each other and they fuel this.

Hmmm. I get the impression that you think that multiculturalism is a deliberate action. I am not sure about that, I think it could be seen as a consequence of free trade. Having the best ideas usually required a diversity in thought; something more likely to occur if more perspectives are present. So, it could be seen as the desire to have a competitive economy by providing a constructive environment for new ideas.

Sure, there are idiots who misconstrue this or misuse it or abuse others, but I tend to think of it as a by product rather than an exercise in social engineering - which if I understand some of your views correctly, is closer to you thinking?
