Good interview and his end bit made lots of sense.

The more fractious and negative we get, the harder it gets. The more we stick together the easier it'll get.

What Parish said was he wished he had not been talked out of letting Frasier go, We didn't have a manager or management team at the time. So not sure who he was arguing with he is the CEO and would of made the decision. Anyway in the 12 games where Campbell was involved he was willing but that was about all, A great guy but not upto the standard. The real solution was to sign a forward capable of playing in the Premier League, and the attempt should of been a lot earlier than the last few hours of the window, I guess that was not Parishes fault either and someone else told him to wait until the last day as he always does, looking for bargain basement players, Don't get me on goalkeepers that's another clanger that's costing us points

Looking for a bargain as the club isn't made of money?

Another fan just assuming we throw a bottomless pit of money at all our problems... Zzzz

Ruben Loftus-Cheek is quality with his back to goal and looks more than capable of playing up front IMO.

Can't believe how many people are p1ssing their pants over the loss of Fraizer Campbell.

Just discussing the Chairman's comment.

I wouldn't be quite pi**ing my pants but I think the point Parish made was quite right. He wouldn't have set the world on fire but he was useful as a "defensive striker" in that he would track back, work hard, help out the others when they were tired and provide a fresh pair of legs; he never complained about having to do whatever was necessary; he could help close a game out.

When he was let go it was on the basis of getting an upgrade which never materialised. I wouldn't have thought of Campbell as competing with Benteke since he served an entirely different purpose. Tekers isn't very autonomous at defending set pieces, for all his height and heading ability, and has to have his feet put in the right places by someone like Tomkins or Sakho. Campbell OTOH was more use standing in for Tomkins than for Benteke!

They're not though. Everyone banging on about no back up striker.

I'd lay a pound to a pinch of sh1t that RLC is a better premier league striker than Campbell.

"I don't have the luxury of sitting at home and being negative - I have to help people find solutions for the football club".

Well said Steve. I'm actually sickened by this new wave of negativity from the Premier League tourists who think we deserve better than a man who gives everything to this club. Calling for him to 'sell up' and 'move on' so that some silly Chinese/American/Arab can buy us out, change the kits and name us 'The Cristal Palace Eagles'.

Our reputation is slowly turning in to that of Newcastle fans. It really is that embarrassing. When people are on here from the comfort of their own armchairs criticizing the decisions of their football club's chairman, calling him out on comments whilst he's making them and generally showing a lack of respect, then it really is time you log off, go to bed and wake up supporting a different club. We'll all be better off without you.

The 50,000 that turned out each week while they were in the Championship?

He's a BullS*** Artist and you fallen for Saint Steve (genuflect when you say that) once again.

2010 DOESN'T MATTER NOW. I find his decisions to be highly questionable. Because guess what it's just as much my Club as it is Steve Parish's or yours. How dare you question anyone else's loyalty to this Club.

Guess what IT WAS WORKING UNDER Frank de Boer. Unlucky at Anfield and Turf Moor. Benteke hits the sitter and we draw at Anfield. 23 shots on goal at Turf Moor 23 Shots on Goal Benteke, Dann, or ANYONE hits a goal or 2 we have at least 4 points.

Now back to Saint Steve (genuflect when you say that) Why didn't he back Frank de Boer??? That's the reason we're in the situation we are in. So you can believe the BULLS*** Saint Steve (genuflect when you say that) spews. I will continue to question Parish's nonsense.
