According to Sky News, only the 97 arrests and 11 police officers injured after the first day.

Must be those soy based hipsters.

If only they had techno Viking to sort them out.

Nigel and Sharon from Cheam won't vote for Sadiq cos they saw him standing against the bum of a dancing bird with big boobs ?

I struggle to see how in this day and age this sort of thing is allowed.

All that semi naked shaking flesh.

All that diversity

And worse still all those people enjoying themselves.

Whatever next?

This is how the middle classes feel safe to enjoy carnival. Say they’re there but not actually in the carnival but on a balcony above it.

A lot of the office professional residents clear out for the weekend.

If I ever get asked to go the carnival im not sure which excuse I’ll use.

I don’t want to go for a number of reasons as many wouldn’t want to watch Palace v Brighton or Burnley.

I guess the MSM are still enjoying the bank holiday as most have not yet reported in any detail that 350 arrests were made and many police officers were injured.

Sounds about par for the carnival.

Disgraceful and totally unacceptable.

One suspects that if any other annual event resulted in such unsociable behaviour year on year it would be banned but alas the Notting Hill carnival is here to stay for ever more.

I used to go in the 80s & early 90s but the crowds became too much to deal with and with several roads being blocked off it got quite difficult to actually get anywhere. Being stuck in a solid mass of tourists blowing whistles for hours, pubs with all the furniture taken out, music which got a bit too frantic for my aging ears. No thanks.
