ith all this uncertainty 4 days left until the window closes don't think this is going to help us recruit new players if FDB is going are the board going to trust him with buying anyone ?? Will players want to come, really hope we get this sorted and FDB makes a success of this but the uncertainty makes it harder & harder.

Like they said on TalkSport this morning;

"You are a manager of 3 games"

Win 3 and you're currently a great manager with support.

Lose 3 on the bounce and you're under pressure.

But this debate is about losing three games due to a faulty system (ie. it could have been avoided).

i am being serious? who is this "experienced proper PL manager who we are going to appoint if frank gets the boot?

you want to sack the manager after 3 games at least elaborate on your plan of action once franks given his rather expensive P45.

in all the bollocks written so far about sacking the manager who hasnt been financially backed after 3 games not one person has put forward a reasonable replacement

A s*** one might.

There isn't one, and at this stage of the season there's unlikely to be one. For example, if de Boer got the boot right now, it would suggest that there was more wrong than just losing three matches, and nobody would touch him with a barge pole. Anyone unemployed at the start of September would have to be s***e, surely?

Isn't it obvious that our team was crap for most of last season and only Sakho and Allardyce saved us?

We haven't bought Sakho and Allardyce knew better than to stay at the club.
Van Arnholt and Schlupp are average and with only the addition of a couple of loanees, what did people expect?

I think people massively misjudged his actual reason for leaving. He won't be coming back to a club where a massive contributor to the problems we have are down to the reason he left in the first place.

We're the Arthur over ere!

Perhaps at the very least, a bit of 'fight'.

We would need to lure one from another club because I can't think of anyone available, except big Sam. But he didn't fancy another season of penny pinching and struggle.
If we actually signed some decent new players we might improve.
