Stop supplying weapons to those helping Daesh. Which party has said they'd do that? Also... Who is responsible for the reduction in police numbers? What's police numbers got to do with it....8 f***ing minutes from start to shooting the c***s dead...pretty darn amazing if you ask me.

And let the Chinese or the Russians supply them instead? Still campaigning using the deaths of innocent people. You are shameful. Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (04 Jun 2017 2.40pm)

It's about how successive governments have failed to protect their citizens allowing attacks like this to happen and how we continue to harbour this cancer in our midst. How many more dead must we bury, how many more candlelit vigils and virtue-signalling hashtags must we have before positive action is taken? Grief is all well and good but are people not allowed to be angry and frustrated with the political establishment for doing nothing to stop it?

This thread should be reserved for "paying respect" via the medium of wailing and kumbaya.

The awful events of last night and the past few months are a stark warning that football needs to create permanent structures to minimize the terror threat. We need armed police at games; terrorists must have no way to force their way inside stadia; anywhere where walking on the road is unavoidable needs to be blocked to cars. None of these things would prevent an incident, but they could all save scores of lives. Basic, practical things can be done to minimize impact. We can't stop them but we can reduce how many they kill and maim.
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |

I think the indiscriminate nature of this attack should be highlighted. Many different communities all have a common enemy.
