The run was always going to come to an end. I do think we will be fine so I'm not worried. We took 3 points at Stamford bridge so can get 3 points anywhere in my opinion. Only 1 away game left and the rest at home.

Chill peeps. We will be ok.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

I think this shows how poor our back-up defenders are. Both Sakho/Tomkins clearly need to be fit.

Basically today's result is a bi-product of injuries adding up. Kelly looked suspect frequently and it officially went to s*** when Cabaye went off.

Not having Cabaye, McArthur and Ledley all unavailable is f***ing dire. Couple that with missing Tomkins and Dann and were f***ing heavy on injuries

Only one away game left as long as you don't count the other two.

Another problem of course was no van Aanholt which meant if Schlupp had to go off we were stuck with no left back so going to three at the back was forced on us really.

However Kelly and Milivojevic both hit the post, so fine margins.

Ward's lack of quality is one big factor tonight, but it sounds like we were overrun in midfield all through the second half.

Can't win em all.

The midfield - that's been so good at protecting the back 4 - was missing tonight both in and out of possession. Chalk it up to fatigue, injuries and football being a funny old game.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

Some positives then:

Swansea threw away a lead as well
Borough are as good as down (the more teams pretty much down and out the better)
We already knew Hull were going to fight hard
West Ham got dragged into it
We have a game in hand over some of those teams
We have a better goal difference than most of the other teams down the bottom

I know there are lots of negatives too, but that's not what my comment is for so there :P

Yep. Either way I think injuries lost us that game rather than anything else. That said I'd have much rather seen Flamini than Sako at HT
