On way back from the game. We played well today. Jimmy Mac and Punch were superb. Thought Cabaye hado his best game for some time to. I thought we closed them down quickly and worked hard as a team.

Thoroughly deserved the equaliser and I felt we should of continued the momentum instead of sitting back and playing for the draw.

How long is it going to take Pardew to realise that Kelly is not a left back. Naturally he got raped by Sterling today but I actually feel for the guy a bit because he is not a left back. He looks so uncomfortable. I know Fryers is pretty crap to but at least he's naturally left footed and he can't do much worse than Kelly is doing at the moment.

The warning was there for the second goal. They rolled it along the floor on their previous corner and it didn't come off. We weren't switched on and were defensively naive yet again. We are not gonna win games or get points if we carry on defending like this.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

..the problem is though that it helps to play well in order to achieve an end result, in all the games we seem to lose we have actually played very well, do you honestly believe we deserved the result today? because this is the crux and Pardew will not be fired with the team trying as it is and just failing through individual piss ups, the players responsible will be put under huge pressure to sort themselves out long before Pardew does.

I have more faith in the owners doing what is right for the clubs future. No way will they let the situation continue if we don't start to pick up points, no matter about transitions etc. How do I know this ? Well the past tells you this. It would be very hard for us to drop and return as the squad would disintegrate unlike Newcastle.

..it is a real shame because we did play well enough for a point and it is a shame for Pardew that our defence cocked it up yet again, January cannot come quick enough.

Thought we did well today. Lots of people seem to forget that our resources are very limited and are much too quick now to jump on the backs of the players. When I play if someone makes an mistake the first thing you normally hear is a teammate shouting "fix it" and not dwelling on the mistake.
We all no Kelly isn't a left back, he was hangout to dry after receiving a hospital pass for the first goal.
Wickham was a good sub and right in the city players faces.
Zabaletta going down seemed to spark the crowed and players into life.

The team looks low on confidence and desperately need a win.

We fell for the same low corner twice. We got lucky on the first one, but it's unforgiveable to let it happen again. Much as people want to blame AP for it, this is something that comes down to on field management. So what the f*** are our very experienced players doing on deadballs? Shocking.

..so nice to read someone who is not blaming Mr Pardew for making Dann and Kelly do silly things with their feet.
