Talk about scrapping the barrel, Allerdyce and now Bruce.

i think we might struggle to qualify for the world cup with either in charge.

And Eddie Howe.

Then again, the probably do represent the highest level of English Managers available. To me, that's really a statement that its time to look further afield.

Effectively managers who's career high points are 'not being relegated' from the premiership. Two of whom have actually failed that.

Thank the stars Pardew head butted that player, and Pardew isn't acceptable to the FA.

Maybe the odds on Sunderland being relegated next season have shortened dramatically !

..I'm pleased, he'll take no nonsense from above and below and the silly c***s on the pitch will know who's in charge, definitely the best one to pick out of that lot, he built a good camaraderie at Sunderland, England always fail because they don't understand what that means.

Correct appointment. We've tried the tactical genius manager, didn't work. The last 5 managers have all been pussies. We need someone to kick these players up the arse, inspire them and lead them to glory. We all know that the team has the talent- as Wales and Portugal (two inferior teams) have shown, all England need is an inspirational figure who will advocate organization and passion. He's the right man, as long as he doesn't play Carroll and Defoe up front

Spot on. Looking forward to seeing Andy Carroll and Kevin Nolan in the next squad
