Suit us down to the ground then!! Then maybe its worth a gamble of getting Sakho in, and getting him match fit by early September, or however long it takes? Then we nip in for Berahino when WBA do buy a striker, and its job done?!

According to my Wet Spam mates/collegues he's had injury probs for ages & they were well happy that WBA wanted him. I think we would be well foolish if we even considered signing him......Steer clear!

It would be worth our medical staff looking at him though rather than trusting others

Funnily enough I cannot remember any player who failed a medical NOT going elsewhere and being fit for the remainder of a full career - niggling injuries aside. On this I am going all the way back to Asa Hartford who failed a medical at Leeds in 1971. Asa kept playing for another twenty years (most notably at Manchester City and Everton) finishing at Shrewsbury when he was 41!

Could be down to WBA being taken over by Chinese investment and not sanctioning the deal..

West Ham have openly disclosed that he has a back injury with no current return date. Thus either: assess him ourselves and determine if we can get him fit in, say, a few months time; or review in January if the need is still there. The 1st option could mean a reduced price with a risk; the second a player hitting the ground running but at January's inflated price. Or, we could leave him in West Ham's physio room and then bench and look elsewhere...
