OP, can you tell me your address as I need to send you an invoice for the new monitor I've had to buy after putting my foot through my old one after reading your comment.

What are you thinking OP? Sing YNWA at Selhurst with the Liverpool fans? Is this some kind of weird alternate universe or something? I for one want us to turn Liverpool over for the same reason I wanted us to do the same over Chelsea, Villa, Everton, West Ham and everyone we've beaten this season as when they see our name on the fixtures list, most of their fans think "well that's 3 points for us then". I'm damn sure 99% of their fans will be in Selhurst expecting us to roll over and give them the points they need to win the league and if the worse should happen, I won't be bloody celebrating with them.

What kind of a message does that give our lads who have massively exceeded and proved wrong so many people by being where we are at the moment, if at the end of the last game of the season at home we're all singing YNWA? It would be like a massive two fingers up to them. No, I'll be clapping and singing for our players come the end of the game regardless of the result and treating Liverpool with the same causal disregard that I do every team that we play at Selhurst.

I was at Ayresome Park when Palace got promoted. The Middlesborough fans stayed behind after the (boring draw) game to specifically clap the Palace players who did a lap of honour.

Such damned plastics those Borough fans, what were they thinking? Surely they should have been exercising causal disregard.

There is a difference between a clap and singing their own song FFcv****gSakes.

OK, let's give them the clap then.

I have given a bird from Liverpool the clap already

I set 'em up, you knock 'em down.

Now we can all agree.

If they sing Glad All Over are we allowed to join in?

You really think they'd do that, probably having just won their first ever Premiership title?

Of course they won't, that's why I always said I would only sing YNWA if they sing GOA. Nevertheless, what a bunch of grumps we seem to be. Here you have a day of celebration for both sets of fans - doubly so for us as we are going to win - yet the response seems so joyless. It will make a change to get noise from the right hand side of the Arfur, going to be a true cauldron of sound that I am really looking forward to.

I am very happy to welcome the scousers. And I want them to have a good day, to make a load of noise and lift it to a Wembley-like occasion. As long as we are noisier and win.

I'm just waiting til they are all signing YNWA, with scarves above their heads celebrating a victory too early and then we score a late goal and all the scarves come down.

Sweet sight at Villa Park in 1990!

I think if I heard Palace fans singing "You'll Never Walk Alone" it'll be the first time in my life I'll be embarrassed to be a Palace fan. It'll be worse than coming into the office in Brighton last year after they'd done us 3-0 at the weekend.

Not getting this football culture then. Try again.

If Liverpool are going to win the league, the best scenario is;
- pool beat Chelsea
- we beat Man City
- Everton beat Man city
- Liverpool then win the league without by default
- Our game becomes irrelevant to them, so we beat them too

... what

I'd rather hear Palace fans have a tongue in cheek stab at a Cardiff song (if they have any) during our game against Fulham if it looks like Cardiff are on their way down. Just to sort of rub it in a bit.

(This isn't a serious suggestion)

One of my fondest football memories was going to Anfield, buying tickets off a kid outside the ground (his dad's season tickets he said, they were rip out tickets then) and going into the Kop with both of us wearing Palace scarves. The locals spent the game chatting away to us about our team. Really friendly and family. We won (Nov 1991, did the double over them that year) but they didn't hold it against us. Happy to return the favour, but I don't want them in our bit of the ground.

For me, football culture is having a damn good time, I particularly like cracking away-days. Can't wait for Peterbro to get into the premiership.

If they didn't have Suarez or about 16 fewer games to play they'd be 3rd at best. Fair play for not practically buying it though.

Suarez really is a vile, disgusting, odious little man. If I stood at the front of the stands I would gladly boo him to his face all game.

I'm tough. I'm ambitious. I know exactly what I want. If that makes me a bitch, I'm OK with that.

I've never heard it sung either despite standing next to the signing section in Selhurst and attending a large selection of away games for the last 4 to 5 years.
