lol, suprised we didnt go on to fulham broadway after, would have been untouchable together, i got chucked out of the game at very beginning and about 10 qpr faces were waiting by gate, they must have been banned and they were straight on me, chased me down a long alley where there were another ten sitting down at end, shouting for them to stop me, the other ten sitting down pretended they couldnt make out wot my chasing pack were howling and let me run thru them, i would have been lynched! it was top boys chasing me, nasty guys from ladbroke grove, ones written a book since, used to wear those deerstalker hats, i went straight back to ground and sneaked into qpr end seats, was behind palace guy in sheepskin waving the fans on to pitch, think he was called pat t!

Yeah you bang on mate it was pat t. Was you one of the wedge heads that Elsie used to go with
Back in the day that used to go in the arfur enclosure? I think one of kevs mates was called malcolm.
Right game c*** with black hair.
Right clued up little mob they was.
First to wear all the gear at palace them and all the Whitehorse estate boys.

Drank in the Sussex myself.
We used to go in there and then on to the cats whiskers. Great days.

Remember that Malcolm when we played everton at home 80/81 season ,us coming out of the arfur and everton coming out the corner of the holmsdale he was kicking and punching anyone that moved.

The old ICF boy Cass Pennant walked past me earlier - he lives right near me. He's old but still f***ing massive.

Didn't he have a sandwich shop or something similar at Penge East Station a few years back ?

Yeah it was opened by his mate, Frank Bruno. It's closed now. There's a plaque on the wall there. Can't believe the plaque is still there. Must be impossible to take off the wall.

The newsagent and convenience store owned by the same Asian bloke/family coin it in along there now. No Supermarket express store nearby so they get all footfall. Decent chippy/kebabage shop there too.

Yep, I pass it every day!

Another good mob we had was after the Bolton game in the cup at home in the round before orient that year, when we ambushed um near the bunny hole on homesdale rd.
