I'm doing

Bournemouth to bt Crawley 5/6 - weekend Banker
Oxford to bt Wimbledon 6/4

about 7/2

Both 2-0 up at halftime. 3-0 and 0-3 wins.

Still don't see why Bmouth is a banker more than other ties today, and there were a few, mostly all coming in as expected, probably because of the fixture congestion and funnily enough a few of the favoured teams having a fixture called off at some point.

Just did my homework, looked at the recent form and Bournemouth are in unstoppable form whereas Crawley's was a bit patchy.

I put £50 on that double and am £166 in profit.

All my bankers have come in.

The only thing separating them is Crawley lost 0-2 at home to Sheff Utd recently, nothing else. Hardly the crime of the century. I dispute it was a banker, even though the result was correct. There were other 'bankers', this one may have swung.

Well done for staying clear of MK Dons after they got pulled apart at home on Boxing Day following your prediction that missed their long-term injuries. Coventry were 3/1. Some of their fans would've done alright today.

I reckon plenty would've got sucked in by Stoke, as they do often. Stoke draw lots, which keeps their league position a temptation for punters.

I don't disagree with anything you said, there were others I fancied like Ipswich at Wolves but this fixture jumped out at me. But I don't tend to favour away teams because alot of the time they are happier to play out a draw. In close matches home teams will usually push for a win whereas away teams will settle for a point.

I did back MK Dons admittedly and lost but my banker bet was Brentford and that was called off.

You're bang right about Stoke. They're a tough team so hard to back against BUT they don't score enough so hard to back to win - so they're a team I avoid completely

Thanks for putting me straight anyway !!

Yeah, just wanted to see why you thought it was. I admit it jumped out at me as you get used to seeing a Bournemouth win each week, but when you get 7th v 8th and the only thing separating them is one loss vs the biggest club in the division, it doesn't really say to me it's a dead cert. As you say, home push for a win, away for a draw. Competent team away can get it, or more. There were other more dead certs which is why I didn't and I'm surprised you did.

My choice of a few was made easy this week by every single one of about 7 predictions winning. 2 were called off. As we all know, too often there's 1 or 2 of about 6 or so that don't come in. Get sucked in to backing too many teams next time based on that alone isn't wise.

Here's to looking at NY Day's coupon. Haven't looked yet. Will do today or early Monday.

Palace odds often are. I was going to put a bet on winning at Forest at 2/1 but couldn't get through to Skybet on my phone. Just imagine thinking you were going to clean up until three minutes into extra time.

Sheff Utd to win at Doncaster 6/4

Sheff Utd lost at home to Hartlepool, they'll surely put that right and Donny are not nearly as good at home as they are away.

Good prediction. Local derby though. Big club visits little club. Little club up for it on a bank holiday with decent turn out and have a few players returning for selection. Doncaster are no slouches either. 3rd in table.

Watford 1-0 up v Chavton very early on.

Fulham 1-0 up at WBA after 25. Glad I left it. Could be curse of 'due a win' and Ruiz back.
