I just think you see things in incorrect terms due to societal brain washing. As a vote against the EU is mostly a vote against other white people.....I'm not really seeing the 'racism' angle anyway. To be English is to be a form of northern European genetically (though not exclusively). Also the charge of 'xenophobia' means that you just don't like people because they are foreign. Now no doubt these people exist because all types of people exist.....However, I seriously don't see it as that relevant. For example, I'm very against the EU, yet as a teacher I probably taught thousands of foreigners in my chosen subject, lots of them being excellent people. It certainly isn't about 'xenophobia' for me but it is about my own nation's national sovereignty and certainly the principle of immigration control. I think perhaps you just have a difficult time understanding your opposition outside of placing them into clichéd stereotypes. Many of us Brexiters on this site would be happy to continue in a EU that was the common market we joined and that Thatcher campaigned for.......Was she being a Europhile and was Tony Benn and others who campaigned against being 'xenophobic'?
