Pardon me if I'm wrong, but didn't he say the economy would crash the day after the referendum if leave won? An even bigger whopper that, as it actually improved! You are wrong. One of the silliest comments from the leave side. Remain said the economy would suffer a shock when we leave the EU. Last I checked we are still in it.

It's true that the pound did fall against both the Euro and Dollar which had the effect of making our exports more competitive so how does that make businesses suffer? How is his comment rubbish. A falling currency is the standard barometer for an economy's health. Oh and have our exports boomed then?

I received that taxpayer funded 'remain' leaflet from the government that warned of an immediate budget due to the economic impact of a leave win. A clear lie from a remainer in the government and part of the remain campaign. The claim was made many times that the economy would be badly affected by a leave win.....it wasn't stated that this would only happen after we officially left. So her comment wasn't wrong and nor was it silly. Edited by Stirlingsays (31 Mar 2019 9.20pm)

George Osborne is warning that Britain would face a year-long “DIY recession” following a vote to leave the European Union.

Before you cheer for those unhappy about suppressed wages and zero hours think of one thing. Once out of the EU first priority is deregulation including stripping back decades of hard fought employment rights... meaning suppressed wages and more zero hours.

You were the one saying it’s rare to see white people in London, ergo that’s a bad thing, thus you have a problem with too many non whites being in your city? If that’s not what you meant, then what was the point behind your comment? So you are delighted about it? In fact, I made no such suggestion. I am responding to the bizarre comments by Snow. Is he suggesting that White people can't have an opinion about their own country? How totally bonkers is that?

Edited by Maine Eagle (31 Mar 2019 9.07pm) Racism? You mean realising the pressure on wages, increased violent crime, increased organised crime, increased religious and cultural friction, increased risk of terrorism, increased obsession with 'racism' and increased pressure on housing, the NHS, the police and the welfare state that mass immigration brings? You mean that 'racism'?
