Your insinuation here seems to be that you don’t value human life unless you go on a march about it, which I’m sure you’d agree is nonsense. I’m going to hazard a guess that you don’t attend marches about any such atrocities - does that mean you don’t care about human life at all? Disgusting!

Silly, isn’t it..?

Again, the protests for Palestine are protests against the British governments ongoing reaction (or lack of) to the atrocity, given it is being perpetrated by our military ally and trade partner.

How do you protest against random atrocities committed by terrorist organisation whom we have no affiliation with? To ask again, what would be the aims of such a protest?

I’m again just surprised the knots people tie themselves in around this topic to maintain a nonsensical position. Trying to draw equivalence between the actions of terrorist organisations and a military superpower, all while trying to maintain a position that the terrorist organisations are evil, but the military superpower are doing nothing wrong.

I don’t attend marches; never have, never will. So your assumption is that I don’t care about anything the marches stand for. Wrong! It’s just my personal choice not to do something that others feel obliged to do. Sorry if my freedom of choice doesn’t sit comfortably with you.
So, if the UK government stated that they wanted a ceasefire, the marches would stop?
If Israel had done nothing after the attack on them and just used words, then the people on the marches would now be marching demanding the release of the hostages and waving Israeli flags?
I just see people hiding behind one-sided compassion ( genuine or otherwise), whilst atrocities elsewhere in the world are ignored. Sure it is difficult to align various terrorists in the same manner, but it appears that their victims are all Christian, or at least of a different faith, so there is a similarity. I’m just surprised that the people on the marches aren’t attending a mass candle lighting event somewhere to demonstrate support for those victims. But that would be unfashionable.

hats off to palace, they were always gonna be louder, and hate to say it but they were impressive ALL bouncing and singing.

Funny enough how I regard Israel is largely irrelevant in British diplomatic policy.

To be clear, I also don’t regard Israel as comparable to Boko Haram.

It is fantastically ironic for you to volunteer that Israel should be judged as we would a terrorist organisation, however.

I’m using the exact logic you applied to protestors to you… that was the whole point. Sorry if their freedom of choice doesn’t sit comfortably with you.

As I said above, the rest is just whatabouttery on steroids - it’s completely obvious why this particular atrocity, in which we are complicit, has evoked such strong reactions. The existence of other atrocities in the world does nothing to change that reality.

Who is " we " exactly?

Not that irrelevant apparently as the British state recently committed to building a holocaust museum near parliament.

As we are a client state of the US on many matters we are indirectly aligned.

Oh cool, we are doing pointless semantics again.

I’m saying we, as a nation, are complicit.

It's hard to know what you mean but all opinions welcome

Hate to be pedantic after my " semantics " but the nation is called the United Kingdom

You clearly don't hate it given how much of your time you spend doing it.

It's generally the approach of people who lack the ability or knowledge to debate at any sort of depth, but all opinions welcome.
