If we do fail to bring in the necessary midfielder that everyone knows that we need I'm sure that Wilf will view it as the club's ambition not matching his own and any faint hope of him staying will finally be put to bed

Dosent matter that he failed they would get more out of our squad than PV does, Roys midfield 4 was Eze, McArthur, Luka, and sometimes Jairo, So basically Doucoure For McArthur, but PV has bought Hughes as well, i think every player is deteriorating under PV, very worrying for me anyway.

Very worrying for me too and so to the complacency shown in that one of two loan signings this window will be enough.

I think that when Roy didn't have an aging squad in the beginning and had some quality to pick from that it was a lot more exciting than the dross we have to watch at the moment. I'd much rather play 2 up front and hit balls in behind teams than all this @rsing around at the back and getting nowhere! We were better in Roy's early days than we've been under Vieira, at least back then we knew how to defend as well as go forward, had energy, this current squad look so undercooked
