There is only one thing I can think of over the last 12 years that I could genuinely talk up and that is Crystal Palace Football Club. Also the 2012 London Olympics. CPFC an unqualified success bucking every trend. Long may it continue. COYP.

Regarding my initial comment about Starmer, I was actually agreeing with you tgat he says whatever people want to hear ( like his speech at a LBTG conference yesterday). Starmer is unable/unwilling to define a woman , therefore, so are the Labour party MPs and candidates. How can he represent half of the population when he cannot define them. This would be a topic Labour supporters would find " boring " whilst Labour opponents will of course use it . Starmer and most of his fellow travellers all worked hard to have as PM an anti semite who was regularly against the interests of the UK and that is something they cannot undo. Similarly there are MP's of the other parties with unpalatable baggage, it is not a one party problem. Edited by HKOwen (09 Feb 2023 10.46am)
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

Edited by HKOwen (09 Feb 2023 10.46am) I genuinely struggle to understand why the Left seem so willing to die on the this hill? The SNP are getting slaughtered up in Scotland (worth looking up a speech by Alex Salmond in the last couple of days about this). There is a real public resistance to the issue and yet they still parrot it. Why? Makes no political sense.

SNP would win more seats than Tories in parliament, poll finds Scotland may not actually need independence at that rate.

Interesting reference to the ECHR in an earlier post; this was set up post WW2, with very significant British influence, and has nothing to do with the EU. maybe it was always going to be sh1t with Brexit, but even sh1tter inside the EU ?

I'm surprised you are interested in parliaments and who gets elected considering your support and praise of various dictators that you have posted on here in the past.

But how do they get into Ireland? Are they flown in by the EU? They come on planes - fully paid but have destroyed passports. Lots come from the UK who have already failed asylum there - yet pretend to be from somewhere else. I believe (off the top of my head) that we also have 1500 per year allocated by the EU.
