To be fair all of that could apply to you as well. What’s your website called?

As none of it could apply to me in any way I really don't get your point. I don't have a website. When I owned a business I did but that was years ago.

A question raised on another forum I think is worth asking as the answer, or lack of one, may help to quell the discontent over the validity of the election process.

In the USA a ballot paper doesn't just record your choice for President. It records many other choices, including that for a Senate vacancy in your area.

If widespread fraud by the Democrats is real then why haven't they succeeded in achieving control in the Senate? Logic suggests that would also have happened.

Can you name a government in the history of the world who have addressed the concerns of all of their people?

Trump is "seen" as doing many things, because he talks...he talks, and talks, and talks some more drivel and diatribe.

Wearing a hat with "Make America Great Again" on it and claiming you will "build the wall" and "lock her up" is common or garden populism for the proletariat.

There is no "the people" in this society, its a lazy argument. This country is utterly divided down the middle, so how the heck are politicians supposed to make everyone happy?

"Fix some inner city issues". Again, sounds so simple....

You are confusing Trump's ability to tap into a section of American society with the genuine concerns and fears that those people have. I am not saying that Trump has the answer just that with Trump gone those voters still have their concerns. You only have to look at Labour and the north decade after decade Labour ignored the voters concerns and pursued policies that hurt their own voter base. Is it any wonder they then vote Tory.

You are correct some people will never be happy but as Biden only just one the election I think it is fair to say there are a few more votes he can pick up if he addresses some of those concerns.

In order for Trump's claims to be true it would need a conspiracy involving elected politicians and the officials who run elections in several states. History tells us that these things never remain hidden somebody always talks.

The last time an election was stolen was in 1960 when the mob won Chicago for Kennedy. Of course in those days we didn't have the internet, mobile phones mobile TV crews etc. so it was a lot easier. Even then the mob was only able to influence Chicago so if Nixon has done better elsewhere it wouldn't have mattered.

The Al Gore Florida fiasco was just that. A rubbish election process where the voters intentions were not clear and the court had to decide.

Would this qualify as ad hominem? Taken from your comment on the CV thread when you got yourself in a bit of a tangle.

My guess is you have never managed more than to get out of bed in the morning, and I think we can count ourselves lucky for that.

Pot kettle black springs to mind..

I never, literally for a second, thought you would. I know the future of the human race and life as we know it is at stake here but I was just having a bit of fun.

So is your answer to my question that the relative lack of success by the Democrats in the Senate means that there can't have been any kind of widespread fraud?

If so would it not now be appropriate for those with sympathy for Trump's presidency tell his supporters that so as to reassure them that the election was fair and they need to accept it so things can move on.

It’s an intriguing story. The allegation was that Joseph Kennedy used contacts from his old bootlegging days, who’d moved on by then, to pressure voters in exchange for promises of future leniency. These promises were not met when Robert Kennedy was appointed Attorney General with unfortunate consequences for both brothers.
True? Who knows?

Would what qualify? I don't recall getting into a "tangle" although others seem to spend a lot of time trying to trip me up, which is a little bit sad.

I admit to straying into ad hominem territory myself from time to time but only as a reaction to tedious personal attacks.

I have managed quite a lot in my life. I have been the MD of two UK subsidiaries of well known international businesses, whose names and products will be known to you. In fact, you may well have some of those products in your cupboard right now. You can add to that my ownership of two businesses of my own and the employment that gave, and still gives, to many people. I have been the President of a national trade association. Oh, and managed to create a family in my spare time!
