I was in the Legends Lounge yesterday talking with Neil Shipperley. He is adamant the team needs the support and noise created by the HF referring back to times where support of the crowd makes a difference. More importantly he muted something might be on the horizon. From what I have seen over the season so far we the crowd have a responsibilty to our team to help them as we have demonstrated over many season prior. Noise = Energy = Improved Performance.

Please, let's not bring Brexit into it. There is no link between the Holmesdale Fanatics and the Referendum debate. This is a divisive enough topic as it is. Let's be sensible please. Having said that, I blame the atheists for this whole mess
(Please try to answer without using dated phrases like 'toys out the pram'. They stopped selling prams in 1970. It's push chairs and buggies mostly. Although some pavement hogs have got the buggie version of the Chelsea Tractor) Originally posted by Goldfiinger

Need them back together that’s all currently they’re just acting like every other fan and unless put together in the same singing section we won’t get our famous 12th man atmosphere back.

Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

spot on Tin!llies that have spent their own time creating some of the best displays we've ever had, the same bullies that have made Selhurst such a known ground. I sympathise with anyone that may have to move but get over it. The heroes that move should get a medal saying "I support the club just as much as anyone else". But seriously, it's not often you get asked to change seats but nobody owns their seat. You have it for the reason and should now allow someone else to enjoy the seat if it means good for the club. We have a set of fans here that want to attempt something special for the club (which they've done before), in a league where most grounds are losing their identities, most rational people would "let's let them do this" It's only a seat,If you've had the seat for 20 years well then let someone else have a go now. Let's stop this sentimental crap and let the "bullies" make Selhurst the greatest ground in the UK.

I'm one of those supporters. I love my club. I have supported them since 1989. When taking my eight year old, he absolutely loves the atmosphere. He loves the fact people tell him how great the atmosphere is. So I'll flip this round. Imagine being a business, blindly loyal to supporters, ignoring a USP that has been a part of our premier league identity? That isn't very good business sense. And yes, you can go all brexit on us, imploring people to remember the good old days of the British empire and Malcolm Allison but those days are dead, buried, finished. Only a stubborn old goat would want what we've had in our first three games in charge. I certainly don't want that. I don't want that for my son and his generation. I want him to go to selhurst and throughout his life and the life of his children to be at a ground where the atmosphere continues to grow and we're the envy of grounds in Europe, let alone England. I feel stubborness and a sense of entitlement is ruining the match day experience at it isn't the HF doing that.

Answer: Because they are good for the clubs iconic image (part of it), them not being their is having a negative impact with the media and other teams are finding it humerous, Selhurst is not as difficult to come to (as being noted by the opposition) and the atmosphere is joe average at best; I have no doubt our players would rather have them too, which is what counts. Also you DONT know what has gone on behind the scenes or the negotiations or promises that may have taken place. This is the modern era and they are an asset to the club. I/we want it to be sorted so stop being so judgemental. It may well be the HF being stubborn, we don’t know. However, SP as remarkable as he is, is renown for his stubbornness. If you like a flat atmosphere, more boring match days and the negative reflection on the club then fair enough. The midnight moaning Aussies obviously don’t go.

Once again may I point out that it is the HF who have removed themselves from block B thus ruining the match day experience. So to infer that it is the club and other supporters being stubborn and have a sense of entitlement is nonsense. I would have supported the HF if only they had not resorted to bully boy tactics to try and get their own way. Negotiation and a bit of patience would have been the correct way to proceed. 1) It's not their job to build the match day atmosphere. They owe the rest of the fans and the club absolutely nothing in that regard. Plus, apparently there was an atmosphere before the HF, so surely that shouldn't have been a problem, then? 2) I'm not sure what bully boy tactics you are referring to. Plans were drawn up by them and the club, and got quite far, with leaflets and promotion documents being released recently. It was the club who did not liaise with people in Block E, it was the club who let the HF take flak from others, it was the club who released a snidey, diggy statement, which looks embarrassing when compared to the HF's statement. The HF never wanted a like-for-like swap, they wanted a singing section with members from Block E being looked after - having had negotiations with the club, it was the club who ballsed that end of it up.
