Cardiff My bet for the day. Anyone good enough to work out the odds before I head to the bookies would be greatly appreciated.

Blackburn, Cardiff and Fulham all stood out for me as well. Stoke and Everton are well priced in the Premiership as well.

Kicking myself a bit for not punting a round of drinks amount on Swansea. They were 14/1 yesterday. But I yesterday I put on 3 separate doubles of Blackburn, Cardiff, Grimsby. All 2/1. Also the treble at 4/1 so it's a trixie but my own ratio.

Noticed it was 1-1 at Old Trafford on 65 minutes and thought United would go on to win in the end. Fancied putting an in-play bet on them at that point but found they were only evens to win, which I thought was a bit short. Swansea on the other hand were a much more enticing 8/1. Then they were 9/1. Then 10/1. Then I thought, why not? After all, Wilf's not playing, so United have got no chance. So I decided to stick a tenner on Swansea instead... The bet just about barely made it through the split second Swansea went ahead. Less than half an hour later, I'm £100 better off, plus I've got my tenner back, plus a free £10 bet to boot! It's just so great to live in an era when you can bet against United at home with some confidence. Happy days!

Well, I just backed Brighton and Birmingham win their first home match for 10 months. I knew I used up all my luck in midweek. I might do Southampton on the double chance, everyone expects Southampton to get beat but I think the fact Liverpool have so many new faces they might take time to settle and struggle to break Saints down

Full program in the football league tonight Call me mental but I fancy Dagenham to get something at Hartlepool. They were winning at Burton (who are one of the best sides) until a late dodgy penalty swung it for the home side. Hartlepool are w***, lost both 2 games and only managed 2 shots on target over the 2 games. Plus Daggers have Cureton who can win games. I might back Burton to bt Exeter (who are s***), Shrewsbury to bt Accrington with Dagggers to win or draw. 2 trebles

Cardiff were 3/4 to beat Huddersfield at home on Saturday. I thought that was a steal considering Huddersfield lost their previous game 4-0 at home. Lumped on that and won and now I see tonight Reading 5/6. More easy money.

I picked out Reading & Burton the other day. Not exactly genius but will look again this afternoon. Still very early after 1 home and 1 away each team so hard to tell and easy to lose.

I don't disagree about Reading but they have a fair few injuries and Huddersfield's defeats were against 2 of the better sides in the division. I think Reading will win, mainly because Hudds look weak in attack, but something tells me this could bust the coupon Edited by Pussay Patrol (19 Aug 2014 12.07pm)
