Question for Remainers. If The EU had offered some form of compromise before the referendum do you think the UK would have voted to Remain? That is the gist of her speech if that is called populist so be it I call it common sense. The EU did not have to offer the world just a few tweaks again that is all she is saying. She then points out that maybe the EU and Germany should not be as nasty to its major trading partner again I say that is common sense. If the EU removed the back stop parliament would agree Mrs May appalling deal. They wont because they don't believe that customs checks can be done away from the border electronically and yet they have publicly said that in the event of a no deal Brexit that is exactly what they will do.
This is the bit that bothers me.

Yes. Check the last 10 things any of them said. There are 10 examples. Let’s see your counter examples. No I meant Politicians, I believe the Leave vote was won with populist policies and slogans like the 350m for the NHS. What was the equivalent on the left which you refer?

Nick clegg was voted in on a manifesto of abolishing tuition fees, he got in and hiked them up. Boris got elected in Uxbridge opposing a third runway at Heathrow saying he'd lay in front of the bulldozer, got a cabinet job and approved it. When do politicians ever respect democracy? Boris yes but the clegg thing misrepresents what happened. He went into coalition as the minor party. One part of his faustian pact was abandoning this policy. Ironic isn't it that the people then dumped the libs and voted the tories over what was 100% tory policy. Err am I raking over old ground here?

Conservative leadership candidates Boris Johnson and Michael Gove are facing growing calls to account for illegal behaviour by the official Vote Leave Brexit campaign. The group has dropped its appeal against the Electoral Commission’s ruling that it broke the law by channelling hundreds of thousands of pounds of donations to an ostensibly independent campaign group, BeLeave. ooooo errrr.......

I believe that the Remainers were equally told untruths hence the vote being so close. How well is the bloc doing financially since 2016? Not very is the correct answer

No need to single out one event. It’s constant and it’s their livelihood so it’s not a question of right and left. There might be an exception for the Lib Dems as they don’t expect to get into power and no one knows what they believe in anyway.

This is the bit that bothers me. During the troubles there were about 50 crossings controlled by 10,000 people from the UK and Ireland. There are now over 500 crossings with no soldiers. The border will be impossible to control, especially when you consider neither the UK or Ireland control South Armagh.
