I think you'll find it was purely down to content.

One was boring as fcuk and one was hilarious.... as evidenced by Andy Burnham being unable to keep a straight face.

Is that why they've moved 1% ahead in polling?

How's this for a stat, Gusset?

I'm no fan of Cameron either.

But it's obvious to everyone on here except Gusset of course that in a straight fight Cameron will knock 7 bells out of Corbyn on every aspect of politics as he does on a daily basis.

However, it's the voting public that count and they will never vote in Corbyn ever.

Although he doesn't appear to be anywhere near as unpopular as people have been stating. The continual 'landslide' defeats fail to materialise each time.

I think he's popular with some of the voting public.

As for beating seven bells and Cameron, it reminds me in some ways of Socrates. Winning, isn't the same as being right. That's the fallacy of politics. Sophistry. Cameron is a great sophist. Corbyn, whilst obviously not Socrates, is hitting on some subjects that really do need to be addressed directly by real change (wages, the housing crisis, homelessness, taxation, poverty, employment).

Some of these issues, are suicidal for elections, but they are definitely issues the UK needs to resolve if it wants to resolve some of its escalating problems, that have been going on now for generations

In your long winded fashion and convoluted style I believe you are in accordance with my findings.

As long as Cameron appears to be publicly beating up Corbyn the public perception of Corbyn is harmed to the extent that no matter what he says or does in respect of policy people just won't take him seriously - just like his predecessors....

Kinnock - falling on his arse in the sea at Brighton.

Miliband - Bacon Sandwich, Tuffinuss and tripping over podium.

Foot - Scruffy old anti-war tramp in a duffle coat.

Appearance does affect your credibility and Corbyn has already gone beyond the threshold of being accepted as credible by the core of voters.

The Labour Party are wasting their time persevering with him if they want to win in 2020.

Nail on head. That's why the press and hissyfitters within the Labour party keep giving this narrative. They can't attack his ideas because actually a lot of people agree with them.

How many u turns have there been recently? Now I'm not pretending Corbyn alone helped along these government backdowns. If it was the other way round the press would be all over the Tories, praising their part in the backdown.

No, because it's Corbyn we are instead told he's a communist 70's throwback terrorist sympathising geography teacher who probably stinks out the commons with b.o.

Obviously this is far more important because it deflects. Hoof mate, if appearance is the first thing you look for in a politician, then I despair. The thing is, it seems you have been taken in by it

The blame Corbyn bandwagon rolls on.

Scruffy appearance, contradictions of stated beliefs, clumsiness in public, rambling speech talking about other people, allowing others to belittle him, etc.

It does not give the impression that he is a Statesman.

His decision to join the EU Remain camp is just ridiculous after 40 years of campaigning ferociously against all it stands for. Just as ridiculous as Cameron's similar stance, but his media team are doing a better job of sugaring the medicine than Corbyn's has.

He doesn't need to be leader. If his ideas are so good they could be channeled through a more media friendly figurehead who might be more acceptable to Joe Public and actually vote Labour.

I know what you are trying to do... make me look to others like I am shallow and only interested in shiny pretty things.

You are just kidding yourself, you know I'm right and my predictions will come true in 2020 if Labour stick with Corbyn as leader.

You castigate others for using independently written blogs as a source yet use Guido.

The Guido Fawkes website generates advertising revenue from corporations and is currently running adverts from several corporate PR agencies and political lobbying companies (like MIPPR and PLMR).

Have to say, I chuckled at the sight of Cameron attempting small talk with Corbyn at the opening of Parliament. Corbyn was having none of it. How refreshing to see honest, undisguised hatred.

..I think you may find his appeal is his Scruffy appearance, contradictions of stated beliefs, clumsiness in public and his rambling speeches about other people, he is I feel actually chipping along very well as leader, people can imagine themselves being in his company and treated fairly, he is showing himself to be in touch.
